Planning to be a pixel artist or game developer? Curious of how sprites are made? Tired of having to watch 30 minute videos? Slow internet? Well your in luck! You found a thread containing the secrets to becoming a spriter, now directly in pictures!

Reuse frames if necessary. I'd add more programs but I think there's a line limit in this post...? Anyways, that's how I do it.

I named my frames weirdly because I'm adding additional "taunt" animations on repeat so it wouldn't be so basic.

Interesting read. I do not plan to do serious spriting myself, but I did make modifications of exisiting sprites on MS Paint a few times (just to make some mons fit my personal tastes a bit better).

Anyway it's always good to see some "behind the scenes" stuff. Thanks!
