So they've been trapped. While Idei figures he should feel more alarmed, more panicked, than he does now, somehow he feels as though this must have been inevitable. One question he does have, though — why had the man seemed to single out Belros in particular? Some history, maybe. 

 

Attacking the enchanted doors doesn't yield any results, which means there is only one way out if they wish to survive.

"If they wanted an easy kill, they should have taken our weapons first," he remarks. Maybe that would've been too obvious. Once Myrdwyn opens the passageway to the south, Idei hoists himself onto Kite's back, situating himself on the newly fashioned saddle. He'd thought he would have to wait a little longer to test out the capabilities of his new bow, but it seems it's going to come in use earlier than they had anticipated. He kicks Kite into an easy canter, gripping his sides with his legs as he takes out an arrow.

 

Move to G15, equip Steel Yari, and shoot Dancer 3.

Clarisse takes a deep breath - of course, something like this would happen. She was really glad her mom didn't see this - she'd go all "I told you so". What was with the Royal Guard and people wanting to kill them? Well, nothing for it - she wasn't going to break her promise. Maybe when this guy got killed or at least his lands taken, her family might be able to try to grab his resources. Might make her Mom less against her going at least. She shook her head - focus. Giving a thumbs-up to Rayne, she heads to get ready for the fight.

This was just great. They got themselves into some kind of a very elaborate scheme against them. He looked over at the spy in their group with a raised eyebrow. The guy just kept making stuff shittier wherever he went. Cass didn't know what was going on with Belros and these people but he was damn well pissed enough already with what had happened in that bar and before that to not really care to question.

Cass' irritation is palpable, but the middle of this fraught situation isn't really the place to comment on it. He decides to focus on doing his best to get them out of here, preferably all in one piece.

Cass was already pretty damn pissed, so when he saw Belros run off into the opposite direction from everyone else, his head grewing boiling hot.

All reason cut loose and he gripped his guitar as tight as he could and even more. Sparks frazzled around his fingertips as he ground his teeth together, bursting into a dash towards the idiotic Spy.

He stomped as hard as he could with his sandals on as he ran near Bel. "What the actual fucking hell are you trying to do, you goddessdamn idiot!" He yelled at him from the top of his lungs, frustrated, angry and, honestly...worried. All of this was apparent in his voice even if he tried his hardest to stare daggers into Bel's back. His eyes still showed a glimmer of worry and camaraderie.

As Bel waited for their enemies to come through he was surprised to see someone walk up to him, even more so that it was Cass. He thought after the incident at the bar that Cass would hate his guts for a long time if not forever.  "Look, I know you may not like me after all I've done, especially to you. But you need to go with the group. There are going to be men coming through this door, and I'm gonna hold them off as long as I can then catch up. I'll be damned if I let them spill more of my comrade's blood in these halls!" Belros spoke to the man with resolve and confidence.  "Now go! Before they start coming through."

Darius glanced around the corner, past the doorway that is now serving as a bit of a chokepoint and noticed, just around the corner, a number of knights standing in line. Seeing a chance to do some damage to the guards, he pushed his way to what he believed to be a more advantageous position, equipping his new Nosferatu tome while he is at it. As he does so, he can almost feel the elder spirits being infused with a sort of...vampiric energy.

That was more than enough in his book and he was more certain now that they could get out of this situation. Of course, it all hinged on Belros taking these enemies on.
