Skrelp hunt is a disaster

So I got the good rod and figured why not get a skrelp. Ive fished 16 times in coral ward with good rod all of them were grimers. I went to azurine island and fished 19 times and still only grimers. Am I doing something wrong? This was on a clear sky at night time.

Doesn't even have to be Coral Ward either. I got mine quickly by fishing at the Peridot Ward.

Don't get discouraged by not getting it in 35 tries, have more patience. Its unlucky but not impossible. If you don't get it in 100, then you know something's up

i tried 45 time in coral ward until i got skrelp :') but i acidently killed it :'(((
