"I have absolutely no idea. I expect that if he can get the system running, we can learn a bit more about this place in general?"

Edmond peers over Kyle's shoulder to see if there is any obvious method of activating the machine.

Edmond turned to the newcomer from his position on the dais.

"Well, basically we've all been summoned here from widely disparate worlds. We fought a few battles, and defeated a creature that was creating a bunch of other evil monsters. And now we are trying to drive what seems to be a mobile castle."

There's the unmistakable sound of machinery powering up, and a high pitched whine sounds from the room they'd come from for a few moments before the initial surge quiets down, though still with a level of background noise that's particularly jarring given the near-deathly silence previously. The monitors flicker to life; several of them seem to be showing nothing but darkness, but one of them, while still partially covered, displays a view of the cliffs past this point, with the rise of Hollow Bastion's town visible on one side.

(19, 3) That's more like it! the Glass Suddenly glows a bright white, like a lightbulb, It also appears to have some other effect, the result of trace amounts of iron in the glass.

Mat Floats this ball of glowing mana around, getting a feel for it, before reshaping it into a sort of faint hologram, white in color.

"We have been brought here to kill fell beasts, You have arrived right after we slew and dismantled the metal machine that was producing the dark beasts that beset the town who bid us to do so, and we are now inside of some other machine, whose innards look like a fine castle."

As he speaks, Mar makes the Light Mana arrange itself into still images to go along with his short summery.

"And now It appears we have the chance to move forward.  We should try to clear what appears to be boxing us in."

"I'm assuming that the monitor displaying the town is the one facing forward. So you should probably try to get a feel for the controls before moving forward."

Edmond was pleasantly surprised that the vehicle had started up so easily.

The cameras shift a bit, but they appear to be largely fixed in place; the many monitors are intended to give you a full field of view. The structure shudders, and the sound of rock scraping against rock sounds for a moment, before the entire works lurches backward slightly. This causes most of the monitors to clear up, revealing that the vehicle(?) seems to be angled parallel to the town, and that it had been somehow embedded in the rock.

Mar looks for something like a top hatch, otherwise, Mar goes back to the door and opens it again, to see if the Castle has moved enough to get outside and see what is going on.

The light Mana is dismissed, unless someone wants Mar to do something with it.

Before Magna could perform any action of her own, the battle ended quite abruptly. Not that she was complaining. She shrugged, following the party inside of the corridor, that lead to a grand hall. It appeared to be a castle of old; something that was outdated and left unused back in her world. It was still fascinating to be inside of one, regardless. As the others were marveling at their new surroundings, Magna stole off to the side, inspecting the potion she was given.

Uncorking the bottle, she carefully let a single drop touch her finger. Whatever the contents were, it proved to still have restorative properties on her. A video game she had played back in her world had potions injure the undead when applied to them. Had it been a medicinal potion, it would have no effect on her. After confirming it's effects, she corked the potion, stowing away the concotion into her cloak. She eyed where Snow was, and went over to her. Magna didn't get the opportunity to get to know Snow better after their first encounter.

"Hi Snow! How are you! Any injuries from that last fight? I figured you might want my potion, given that they don't work on me," Magna lied. In truth, she was just using the potion as an excuse to start up a conversation. She staggered a bit, as the castle had begun to move, before regaining her balance. "Fascinating."

"Electricity," Alexandria remarks dryly as she puts the finishing touches on the improvised cloak, "Possibly with a magic-powered generator.  You, 'Hellfire Knight', have a cloak.  It's nothing fancy, but it'll keep you covered until you can purchase something better."  She rolls her eyes at the title Hiroki introduced herself with.  Who do these people think they're impressing with all the edginess?

"I would agreed that it is at least partly nonmagical. The control panel almost certainly works on electricity from what I can see...Though I'm probably not the best person to ask about magic, I know my circuits."

He placed his feet firmly, and put his hand on the throne to steacy himself as the castle lurched to life.

Kyle nods to himself as he starts to back the tank down from its place in the mountain.

"So, I think now is about the time to reveal some secrets about ourselves. For trust reasons you know. I mean, we'll be saving the universe together."
