dead account Posted January 9, 2017 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Gen I: Bulbasaur. Kinda the least meh of the 3 to me. Gen II: Cyndaquil or Totodile. Gen III: Treecko. I initially liked the Torchic line but the whole Speed Boost making it borked thing sorta left a bad taste in my mouth. And Mudkip can stay in that pokeball at the bottom of the lake. I hate Mudkips. Gen IV: Turtwig. Gen V: Oshawott. Mostly because it evolves into Samurott and the other two starters are very meh in my eyes. Gen VI: Chespin. Mostly because of my experience with it in Reborn. TharTV Posted January 13, 2017 Share Posted January 13, 2017 For me it would be (based on evolution lines): Gen 1: Charmander Gen 2: Cyndaquil Gen 3: All of them honestly, this gen has the best starters by far Gen 4: Chimchar Gen 5: Tepig, but tbh I dislike them all Gen 6: Froakie, cos of Greninja Gen 7: Difficult....I've only played once with Popplio. I liked him and Primarina, but hated Brionne tbh. Will probably go for Litten as his whole line is cool. From this list you can clearly tell that I'm a pyromaniac. I really love fire types, especially the faster ones. All fire types have a base Atk/Sp Atk higher than 100 so they can hit fairly hard too. This is the same reason why I don't like grass types, because they tend to be the exact opposite of this. As an added bonus, I'll also add a list of which Gens have the best starters overall (from bottom to top): 7). Gen 5 (the only gen where I dislike all of them) 6). Gen 7 5). Gen 6 4). Gen 4 3). As most my favorite last stage is Charizard, but when it come to mid forms nothing beats Ivysaur for me. My favorite first stage is Squirtle. Gen II: Reveal hidden contents My female Chikorita for the win. Honestly I prefer her over her evolutions, but still love this cutie. As Enigma Shot U said, it's really underrated. Gen III: Reveal hidden contents Mudkip. Because Swampert. As of Gen III that Earthquake was really intresting. Gen IV: Reveal hidden contents Chinchar. Specially because I really disliked the other two. Gen V: Reveal hidden contents Snivy because of Serperior. Besides I really disliked fire pig bacon Tepig's line. Gen VI Reveal hidden contents Froakie. Quilladin and Delphox just decepcionated me to the point the ninja line won me over. Gen VII: Reveal hidden contents Popplio. Since the first time I saw this one I remembered Feebas and knew a beautiful evolution was coming. I was not wrong and the meaning that effeort and trust have in the transition to little Popplio to Primarina just make me love it.
