Cyczer
6 hours ago, Karudae said: Hi there. Please rate this team? Thanks. Reveal hidden contents Mawile Shiny: No - Play Rough - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Swords Dance This is my setup sweeper. It works really well under Trick Room, and Sucker Punch gives it priority that hits hard after a SD. Intimidate in its base form also helps my teammates with setting up TR and everything. Marowak-Alola Shiny: Yes - Flare Blitz - Shadow Bone - Earthquake - Stealth Rock I'm looking forward to using this thing. I can give it Lightningrod to take electric attacks or Rock Head so it can spam Flare Blitz. It also is my hazard setter. Mantine Shiny: Yes - Scald - Roost - Defog - Haze My defogger. It basically supports the team. Conkeldurr Shiny: Yes - Drain Punch - Mach Punch - Rock Slide - Wide Guard Rock Slide is there to hit birds, which my team has a bit of a weakness to. Wide Guard is useful in doubles. Flame Orb+Guts protects it from other status, or Iron Fist boost its fighting moves. I realize Rock Slide's not as good as Ice Punch, but I wanted another spread move. Tell me if I should replace it. Exeggutor-Alola Shiny: No - Trick Room - Draco Meteor - Giga Drain - Flamethrower My first Trick Room setter, it also hits pretty hard. Reuniclus Shiny: Yes - Trick Room - Psychic - Focus Blast - Protect I wasn't sure about having two offensive special attacking TR setters, but redundancy might not be a bad thing. Protect also helps it in doubles/triples and scouting for Dark moves. I also could give it Leftovers and Regenerator to be more defensive, or Magic Guard to be a stallbreaker (TR doesn't like stall) or Overcoat for status. Both of your trickroom setters are psychic type and slow. A dark type pokemon wouldnt have any trouble stop this set up of yours, considering it can also make a hard hit to marowak aswell. As for banned mawile mega, If you want a trick room attacker, I would suggest escavalier. Godlike typing, 20 speed and 135 attack will fit that slot very well.. For marowak alola, smartest choice is giving it lightningrod. That gives a free electric immunity and BLOCKS the volt switches, that will cause your enemy to lose a bit momentum. ( No need to mention marowak hits like a truck with thick club). Your team looks decent for a trickroom team other than those.. Just dont forget to give your pokemons - speed nature and 0 speed IV's for max potential.

I also could give it Leftovers and Regenerator to be more defensive, or Magic Guard to be a stallbreaker (TR doesn't like stall) or Overcoat for status. Aside from the banned mega Mawile, the team looks solid! BUT I have to say that full TR teams can get countered really easy. You should consider to add a pokemon that can fuction outside of TR, usualy something realy fast. Suggestions: In Mawile's place you can use any slow hard hitting mon like SD crawdaunt, Escavalier, Rhyperior, Bewear etc. or any other fast mega that can work outside of TR like SD Gallade, Metagross, DD Gyara, DD Tyranitar etc. Also while I love A-Eggy it's a bit too weak and has let me down a few times :(. I suggest to use a TR setter that can pretty much guarantee you to set up in case Reuniclus is weak against the leader you are facing. Suggestions: Porygon 2 is probably one of the best TR setters since it has so much bulk that it will probably live any attack and set up TR. Its normal typing makes it immune to ghost that Reuni is weak and Reuni can take on fighting attacks that threat P2! The downside is that it has to hold the Eviolite making it suspectable to Taunt without the Mental Herb. Another pokemon that pretty much guarantees to set up TR is Mimikyu thanks to Disguise! You might think that Mimikyu is a bit too fast to abuse the TR and you are not wrong. But thanks to Shadow Sneak it doesn't care that much for being slower in TR and also its 96 speed lets it get outsped from what we consider "fast" these days! You can slap it a Mental Herb for 100% TR set up, a Red Card to force a switch on you opponent to probably something better for you or can even let it hold an Iron Ball so it can halve its speed. The good thing with Mimikyu is that it can also be used without TR just as fine! Another solid setter is Aromatisse that has already good bulk to live most hits, immune to Taunt thanks to Aroma Veil and can support the team with a plethora of moves like Wish, Heal Pulse, Helping Hand and Dual Screens. Last but not least, while I like Haze on Mantine it makes it very passive in singles against certain monotypes, most notably those that resist water. Try out Toxic to wear down opponents that Mantine noramlly wouldn't beat, like Gastrodon, Jellicent, Cradily and see what fits you better :]

I'd say that 3 TR setters is too much and you usualy need a fast/semi-fast pokemon that can work outside of TR whenever you can't set it or your setters are fainted. I'd say try to replace Slowbro with a set up sweeper like DD Gyara, DD Gator or Crawdaunt (either SD or DD). I chose these 3 cause they still give you the water typing for defensive and offensive purposes and they can sweep teams outside of TR with 1 set up! Crawdaunt can even work in TR if you want

Well, the most immediate problem is that you have no Hail setter whatsoever, and Aurora Veil requires Hail to be up before you can use it. Changing A-Ninetales' ability to Snow Warning would fix that problem.

Looks fine, personally but WoW and Volt Switch on Rotom Wash instead of Dank Pulse and Shadow Ball, to stop physical sweepers and gain momentum as well. Also HP Fire hits Scizor better but you have Typhlosion and Rotom Wash to bulk that so keep HP Rock

With a base HP, defense, and speed stat of 65, it seems subpar as a wall, setup sweeper, or cleric. Consider putting something that can deal with flying-types. Two members of the team are weak to it, and you have no moves that are supereffective against it at all. It's a relatively common type, so you should have a counter to it. Inferand
Flying type? Oh jeez..ill try. as for komala, consider this. It is COMPLETELY immune to status, and can tank special hits relatively well, Not to mention has access to wish and protect, making it easy focus fodder for triples. With this in mind, iit only seemed like a decent choice for some strategies like the discharge+motor drive strat. For flying, i guess i could use ampharos? Also gets heal bell, cotton spore, cotton guard, and has a good mega. Ill replace altaria with it. May as well change gallades drain punch to close combat while im at it.
