Tempo17
So after being away from reborn for the past year I've finally made it all the way up to the fairy type gym leader and got beaten to oblivion. I need to add new pokemon to my team as well as ev train my team properly in order to beat this person. So I have a bunch of different questions that I need to ask because when I tried to look it up myself, most of the information is either years old and irrelevant or I can't seem to find it at all. 1. What are good spots to level train 75-80 pokemon. This is really important since my pokemon are underleveled for this fight at 76-77 and they need to be 79-80. 2. How do you get the berries to lower the ev values. I need to completely rework most of my team since when I started playing I did not care about ev training but that is not really going to be an option from now on. 3. Where are the best places to ev train/is there an ev training center. 4. I need to add a few more pokemon to my rotation since my current team (greninja, noivern, magnezone, arcanine, mamoswine, gallade) can't seem to do it. I need to add more fire, steel, and poison type pokemon if I want to beat this gym. Also if there are general really good pokemon suggestions that you guys have that would be helpful too. Chessdude
1. Agate Clown Indra is probably the best place to train. If you are feeling confident, the grand hall trainers are your go to but they have mons 80+ 2. You need to get to the 8th floor of the obsidia department store, additionally you can buy EV erasers in the new shopping center at peridot 3. Best way to EV train is to use the Power items and kill lots of pokemon under the railnet. If you don't need speed on that pokemon (noibats and swoobats give you 1 speed EV) , then you can go buy another speed eraser 4. There are plenty of walkthroughs on how to get beldum to replace your noivern. Also there is an online trade system now which you can use with other trainers. Honestly EV training will make your team considerably stronger and you should be able to beat the gym with your present team
Cyanna Cyril
Highly would recommend getting metagross for the fight. Bullet punch gets buffed and meteor mash in general hits hard. He'll also resist and outspeed most fairy threats which is another bonus. Besides that, I think your team has the possibility to beat Adrienn already. Mine was even more underleveled compared to yours and I managed. Protect the magnezone as much as you can, use arcanine with intimidate to get debuff mawille, maybe get Greninja to learn gunk shot for protean stab (don't know how he learns it, but should be available). And someone should be able to take down Whimsicott before it gets a tailwind going (Mamo or Ninja with Gunk). Besides the agate clown, you can also use the trainer(s) in the grandhall if you've got one hard carry. Gallade/Glaceon were my primaries for training there, and I bet gallade/mamoswine can do just as good for you. Be careful as they're around level 80, but if you have a team to beat them its nice EXP. EV training may help, but it's not necessary if you battle with a plan.
Blontary
Think I made it with 3 pokes: emboar to kill whimsicott and mawile, bronzong and metagross for the rest. Metagross is kinda op and bronzong is really helpful with high defenses and a powerful heavy slam. Then what the other guys said
Tempo17
I do have the beldum but it has a crap natura (+def, - spd) iirc. Are there way to breed it or do I just have to hope someone will be willing to trade a beldum for a beldum?
FairFamily
If the nature is a problem, you could always change it. If you want to breed tfor iv's) you need a ditto.
