Hello! Woo, my first post on a reborn forum! 

So I ended up creating my own ItemRadar marker skin/sprite and wanted to share it with you all!

 

Sparkle ItemFinder Marker:

Hi I've run into a problem with the Shared PC part of the mod today out of the blue. After launching the game today I got a message I absent mindedly closed to get to the game, I think it had something to do with corrupted settings, but now when ever I load my saved game it crashes and I get an error log. Its got to do with the Shared PC mod so to do a quick test I moved it out of the mods folder and reloaded the save and got it to load with no problems, putting the file back in and doing another load brought back up the same error log message.

The SharedPC file got corrupted - simply delete it to regenerate it (it's in the folder "Pokemon Shared PC", a game-agnostic sibling of the Reborn save folder).
After deleting the file start the game, load the latest savegame, access the shared box, and then save the game.
Don't start a new run before doing this!

(That file getting corrupted is a long standing bug that never happened to me and I've never been able to replicate - I suspect it might have somethng to do with the anitivirus or Windows Defender not allowing the game to write multiple files in the saves folder)
(It is also possible that it happens if you save the game and then close it before even closing the "save successful" dialog, but I doubt it...)

Hi there, I was wondering if you would consider creating a mod that lets someone see type matchups effectiveness for pokemon moves while in battle? Similar to Pokemon USUM's style, where it occurs when you have seen the pokemon before. I thought it might be similar in concept to the field matchup QoL, and would be somewhat helpful.

They were replaced by vanilla passwords. Use passwords: noitems(for player items) and stopitems(NPC items)

Hi! I just updated the game to E19 and downloaded the E19 SWM mod. I read in the comments above that a few of the mods seemed to have changed to passwords (e.g change weather, time, no HMs needed etc.). I wanted to know where I can use those passwords. I am starting from the end of E18, not a new game.

Thanks! 

Go to any computer and you should see "Add Password" under [User]'s PC. From there, go to the "[Add password]" option and type in the password. Each activation or deactivation of a password requires the consumption of a Data Chip.

 

If you need a list of passwords, the wiki keeps a page for it.

That's intended, there is nothing to fix.

With how insanely fast you can EV train with power items, that not really ever a reason to not overflow.

You need either the tm (so anyone can use it) or a Pokémon that knows psychic naturally to use the relationship checker

Very slight inconvenience here. No matter what I do, box 48 always becomes my shared box. In my other save file its box 50, but my primary save is at box 48. I did a fresh install of reborn, cleared the "sharedPC.rxdata" stuff, and uninstalled the mod but nothings changing. I was just wondering if there's any way to change that. I tried looking at the code and it seems like it should default the last empty box. Even though my box 50 is empty it keeps going to box 48. I'm willing to go edit code if I have to. Thanks for even reading this LOL its really bothering me

Installation

The link above will allow you to download a .zip archive.

Inside of that archive you will find a "Readme.pdf" explanatory file and a "Mods" folder.

 

To install, just drop the folder "Mods" into the folder "[Pokemon Reborn]\Data\"

(At the end you should have a "[Pokemon Reborn]\Data\Mods" folder with a bunch of files inside.)

If playing on a Mac with Wineskin, then, as @Tacos suggests in this thread, do all the modding in a Reborn folder outside of the wrapper and then make a new wrapper with that folder
 

Every component is stand-alone, and can be used on its own; please refer to the "brief summary" below for more info on each one.

Brief summary of each mod component

 

(Please remember to check and delete the components you do not want when you are installing this mod pack!)

 

  Reveal hidden contents

• "SWM - ChooseStarter": while you are in the starter selection room, you can select your starter (as if you wanted to give it an item) and use the "Change starter" option to randomize or choose its species.


• "SWM - EvOverflow": if your mon's EV in any stat would go over 252, without breaking the 510 overall limit, then you are offered the choice to improve its IV, at the cost of resetting that EV.
If instead you use friendship berries at 0 EV you are offered the choice to reduce the IV.

Use the password "noevcap" to disable EVs being lowered to make room for new gains when reaching the 510 overall limit.

 

• "SWM - ItemRadar" changes the ItemFinder so that, when activated, it stays on and marks hidden items on the game map.

To use them, download the .png image attached to the linked post and use it to replace the mod's default "SWM - ItemRadar.png" file)

 

• "SWM - LearnEggMoves" lets the move relearner teach any egg move.

 

• "SWM - MiningForRich": while mining the wall won't collapse, but mining further costs cumulatively more and more money (spent on materials to build a tunnel, of course :P ).


• "SWM - NoTMXAnimations" hides the TM animations for using Cut, Strength, etc, out of battle.

 

• "SWM - PredictRelationshipValues" makes the move Psychic usable out of combat, and using it lets you know each npc's relationship value.

 

• "SWM - RestToWait" makes the move Rest usable out of combat, and using it lets you wait for some simulated time.


• "SWM - SharedPC" makes the last box in the PC shared amongst savegames: mons you put in it will be there if you start a new game or load a different savegame.

 

• "SWM - TypeBattleIcons" shows each pokemon's type in battle.

SWM - ChooseStarter sub mod is giving me the in game notification in game "Sorry this mon would break the game" when trying to choose any pokemon. Then crashes once out of the menu. Why? 

 

Nevermind there was some sprites missing
