Phazer
@ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Roost - Brave Bird - Spikes - Stealth Rock Stealth Rock first, Spikes next. Roost to help keep alive and Brave Bird for taunts and to kill off weak defense. Sturdy to help get one hazard up. @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Flamethrower - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball - Hidden Power [ice] Anything that has rapid spin is probably not going to be scarfed. Chandelure can take out most spinners e.g. Starmie, Donphan, Forretress. Chandelure has amazing coverage, and dual stab with Flamethrower and Shadow Ball. Also spin blocker. @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 HP / 128 SDef / 128 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Dragon Tail - Roost - Substitute You might think Dragon Dance and Dragon Tail counteract each other but Dance really helps get roost or substitute in first or beat another phazers. Dragon Dance also to increase attack, and Dragon Tail to phaze with hazards. @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Protect - Earthquake - Toxic - Substitute Stall + Toxic is lethal, plus that phazing from Dragonite. Substitute + Protect for healing and Toxic stall. Earthquake if Toxic isn't enough and taunts. @ Leftovers Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Ice Beam - Rapid Spin - Scald Rapid Spin is the main reason I have Starmie. Other than that a non-boost special sweeper with amazing coverage in Ice Beam, Scald, and Thunderbolt. Natural Cure to take status's that would hit the team and for toxic spikes. @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Thunder Wave - Leech Seed - Power Whip - Protect Ferrothorn is the wall, Thunder Wave to cripple and give parahax-cancer to the opposing team. Leech Seed paired with hazard, toxic, and protect is fatal, lol. Power Whip in case taunt and because you need a physical. Probably the highest threat is parahax. Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Roost - Brave Bird - Spikes - Stealth Rock Chandelure (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Flamethrower - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball - Hidden Power [ice] Dragonite (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 HP / 128 SDef / 128 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Dragon Tail - Roost - Substitute Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb Trait: Poison Heal EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Protect - Earthquake - Toxic - Substitute Starmie @ Leftovers Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Ice Beam - Rapid Spin - Scald Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Thunder Wave - Leech Seed - Power Whip - Protect
Eternal Edge
This team has no threats? Good to know!
Hyouka
I think both hazards on Skarmory is a bad idea but good team
Administrators Ikaru Posted June 20, 2012 Administrators Share Posted June 20, 2012 ...I read the title and was disappointed by the lack of Charizard on this team and it took me until Allan's post to understand what the title was actually saying. Oops. Anyway if you're running Dragon Dance and Dragon Tail on the same set without any other offensive moves, you might consider using Sleep Talk and Rest instead of the other moves, since Sleep Talking Dragon Tail is normal priority as opposed to the -6 that Dragon Tail is on its own (Translation: You can possibly Dragon Tail before they even have a chance to move). You also still have the recovery from Roost and the status blocking of Substitute, for the most part. The only drawback is that you aren't guaranteed to pull off Dragon Tail from Sleep Talk. The rest seems solid, nothing much to say about it that hasn't already been said.
chasedawg98
Looks nice . However, I only have one suggestion. You said that you only used starmie as a rapid-spinner. So I think you should switch starmie with a tentacruel so you have a spinner that can also set up toxic spikes to make stalling that much more effective . Overall, great stall team. Phazer
Chase really good suggestion, it works well also, but I realized that I can't drop off any of my status's on Tentacruel.
chasedawg98
That is true. However, you could switch ferrothorn for something along the lines of aromatherapy tangrowth or tangela and keep tentacruel. Just a thought.
