Panther
Sup, can someone rate this team please? I've been using it in-game and have been extremely picky about my team's synergy, moveset and natures, and to a lesser extent their items, IVs and EVs. Are there any other Pokemon I can consider here or should I change up any of my sets? Alternatively, should I grind to get better IVs and reset the suboptimal EVs to make these guys 100% properly EV trained (for example, having 252 attack and speed on Weavile), or should I just leave it? I know that many of my team have crappy IVs and the EVs are not completely optimal but I'm not sure how I feel about EV training each team member again. -------------------------------------- Golurk @ Spooky Plate Ability: Iron Fist Level: 80 Shiny: Yes EVs: 92 HP / 187 Atk / 87 Def / 0 SpA / 33 SpD / 109 Spe Adamant Nature IVs: 13 HP / 22 Atk / 12 Def / 1 SpA / 29 SpD / 24 Spe - Hammer Arm - Shadow Punch - Stealth Rock - Earthquake Weavile (F) @ Never-Melt Ice Ability: Pickpocket Level: 82 EVs: 97 HP / 123 Atk / 22 Def / 37 SpA / 106 SpD / 125 Spe Jolly Nature IVs: 2 HP / 17 Atk / 12 Def / 25 SpA / 4 SpD / 10 Spe - Icicle Crash - Ice Shard - Night Slash - Brick Break Chesnaught (F) @ Meadow Plate Ability: Bulletproof Level: 84 EVs: 118 HP / 189 Atk / 115 Def / 4 SpA / 72 SpD / 12 Spe Adamant Nature IVs: 2 HP / 30 Atk / 31 Def /16 SpA / 30 SpD / 30 Spe - Drain Punch - Spiky Shield - Bulk Up - Seed Bomb Magnezone @ Wise Glasses Ability: Sturdy Level: 80 EVs: 103 HP / 17 Atk / 77 Def / 139 SpA / 65 SpD / 109 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 18 HP / 30 Atk / 12 Def / 24 SpA / 13 SpD / 12 Spe - Thunder Wave - Discharge - Charge Beam - Flash Cannon Muk (M) @ Black Sludge Ability: Poison Touch Level: 82 EVs: 97 HP / 125 Atk / 77 Def / 13 SpA / 120 SpD / 78 Spe Careful Nature IVs: 11 HP / 12 Atk / 15 Def / 30 SpA / 23 SpD / 6 Spe - Gunk Shot - Fire Punch - Ice Punch - Payback Arcanine (F) @ Charcoal Ability: Intimidate Level: 83 EVs: 48 HP / 185 Atk / 93 Def / 27 SpA / 50 SpD / 107 Spe Adamant Nature IVs: 23 HP / 13 Atk / 8 Def / 16 SpA / 11 SpD / 17 Spe - Flare Blitz - Bulldoze - Extreme Speed - Outrage ---------------------- Thanks in advance! Peanuts
Overall, your team members movesets/items look good, and it seems reasonably balanced. The one thing I have noticed on your team is that you have a very obvious ground weakness with muk, arcanine, and magnezone getting hit super effectively. You also don't seem to have any strong fighting type coverage on your team as well. So, I would suggest a flying type since it would help to alleviate both of those issues. Crobat, Noivern, Aerodactyl, Togekiss, Honchrow, and Staraptor are all very strong flying types, just to name a few. I haven't personally used Muk in game, but of the 6 you have listed it is probably the one you should most consider replacing. Muk is a little 1-dimensional as a poison type, despite having good bulk and moveset overall. In game, having perfect IV's and EV's are not necessary, although spending the time to breed for the better stats does make the game play easier. At this point I personally wouldn't retrain all of them unless I really had to; it's much easier finding a good pokemon and starting from scratch than retraining in my opinion. Hope this helps! sailboat
well since you are kinda reluctant(?) with adjusting ev/ivs i won't talk about em. Imo golurk no guard +dynamic punch would be better than hammer arm cuz guaranteed confusion is very useful on most cases. you have 4 mons weak against ground moves considering the next possible leaders in-game i believe ground type moves can be expected. i would suggest you consider bringing fast fighting type like mienshao (my own preference but not necessary) as your team is 4 out of 6 slow mons.
