Gardevoir or Gallade?

I just got my shiny ralts, and its male. I don't know what should i evolve it into. What is more useful, Gardevoir or Gallade?

Depends on what you already have in your team, it's IVs, nature, and your personal prefference.

 

It's like asking which eeveelution you should go for, for a single eevee; it pretty much depends on the case.

 

I'm a fan of both Gallade and Gardevoir, so i'd look at it's IV's and nature.

I'd say it depends on your current team/rotation. If you have a lot of special attackers, you might want to go for Gallade because he is more physical. If it's the other way around, you might want to go with Gardevoir. Also, take into consideration the spread of your types and try to decide your choice based on that.

 

Pure aesthetically, I'd say go for Gardevoir, looks better as a shiny than Gallade

You can always change its Nature/Ability in 7th Street. So, I'd say the deciding factor should be its IV's.

 

If it has higher IV's in Sp. Atk, Gardevoir. If Atk is higher, Gallade.

Gardevoir's best moves are immediately learnable through its moveset while Gallade's is a bit harder to form and the evolution process those require you a Dawn Stone

In 7th Street, you can change its nature at the psychologist for one Heart Scale (the only building with a sign in front of it) and its ability by purchasing an Ability Capsule (costs Shards) from the vendor north of the Magma Gang entrance or south of the Aqua Gang Entrance.
