HongaarseBeer
So I'm trapped in this Nuzleaf cage in the forest (can't recall which forest) and I decided to decline Fern to see what would happen. Now, I put on 3x speed so I wouldn't have to wait as long, but I'm still on my own... Will help ever come if you decline to beg Fern to help you? Wolfox
there will, just be patient and a little birdie will let you out(no, I'm not kidding)
HongaarseBeer
Alright, I'll be patient then Will it take much longer, though? Edit: never mind, I got saved. Thanks! Edited March 8, 2017 by HongaarseBeer97
Wolfox
Nah, a few minutes tops
Daniel Blackworth
It's tiring to wait for 3 minutes though
Alextron
I don't remember waiting that long in my playthrough. Maybe talking to to the cage's door will do something?
HongaarseBeer
I think it made a difference that I wasn't 'on' the game e.g. I had it opened, but I wasn't actively in the game (I was browsing the forums whilst the game was open)
Waynolt
Imho the better question is: why didn't you take Fern's offer? You inflate that moron's ego a little and for that you get something you really need (as far as your character knows). It's not even that high a price to pay, for actions speak louder than words and you never lost a fight with him, regardelss of how great* he thinks himself to be. (*Though I suspect he's more a case of Inferiority Superiority Complex... you know, brilliant sister, all of his friends are leaders... he keeps getting beaten by the newbie...) HongaarseBeer
I accepted his help in my first playthrough, so I wanted to check out the other option to see what happens when you pick it. And concerning the Inferiority Superiority Complex, I really think he suffers from that. He wants to prove that he's also a 'big boy' but it doesn't necessarily work out that way for him
Daniel Blackworth
I never went to the route wherein you accept his help because I didn't want to increase his ego. It's better that he will realize slowly his mistakes and flaws and from there, improve himself.
Jetstream
I didn't accept his help because i didn't want to inflate his monster ego any more than it already is and i don't regret it in the least after the bridge incident.
hope4896
I declined Fern's offer, but I'm lazy to wait for that Chatot so I simply used an Escape Rope, apparently that works hahaha.
HongaarseBeer
Oh lol, that's also an option I guess

Gab1
I never accepted Fern's offer. I prefer to die instead of saying (even just saying) that he's a better trainer and person than me.
Tapu Fufu
I think you need to run a certain amount of steps to activate the bird (lol)
