I read, here on the forums, that you start the Devon sidequest, to get Treecko, by talking to Ame. Point is, I have already finished the episode 16 story line. As we know, Ame dies in the devon building. Anyone have any idea of what I can do to start the quest?

i dont think Ame is related to that sidequest, go to the rocochrine jungle in a cave you'll find something vlocking the path, then go to silph co..

Get the Devon Scope inside the Devon Building, it's in the upper floors, then try and interact w/ a kecleon in a cave in the forest near Beryl Ward, then go to Sylph Co., to exchange that Devon Scope for the Sylvon Scope.
