iTunes
Hello everyone. I don't usually like asking for help, but I am stuck on Samson. I need to be able to get a Destiny Bond off with my Speed Boosting Sharpedo. But I can't find the TM for Protect. Anyone have any ideas? 0 Peanuts
Protect is not in game since it is very powerful and versatile. A quick claw, focus band, or focus sash would allow for you to get destiny bond off, although you will probably need to reset a couple times for the former two to work. What is your current team, and what viable backup pokemon do you have for Samson?
0 Animefan666
A Noivern with Tailwind could give you the speed you need to get Destiny Bond in. Edited April 7, 2017 by Animefan666
0 Jace Stormkirk
i would suggest getting a hawlucha that is nearby because it is fast strong and it's signature move flying press will trigger the stage resulting in more damage and it is fighting and flying type so it is super effective. i got one and it almost swept his entire team. 0 Animefan666
Hawlucha can be found on Route 2 in the morning.
0 Wolfox
not gonna lie, Hawlucha caried me against Samson, he got the Hi Jump Kick off on the conk getting the OVER 9000! boost, instantly sealing it's place in my favorite pokemon list. 0 iTunes
I actually won the battle without the help of Sharpedo, I trained up a Gigalith and it had Study and Study + Explosion = BIG DAMAGE and it managed to take out his Ace. But thank's for helping. I still think having Sharpedo would be good, I heard Charlotte is a pain and having Destiny Bond would definitely help
0 Zarc
Samson was the hardest gym leader to me on my first run ( second run well i made a team able to destroy him ). Charlotte is hard indeed but you need 2 or 3 ground type pokemon with earthquake and its easy , catch a rhydon and a donphan on route 2 Edited April 7, 2017 by Zarc
0 Developers enu Posted April 7, 2017 Developers Share Posted April 7, 2017 Samson is one of the easier leaders in my opinion. Some good psychic types like Espeon or Gardevoir are even able to slaughter his entire team. The key is to not use any mons weak against fighting type moves (such as Sharpedo) because they're sitting Duckletts against his field+stab-boosted moves.
