Lost Glasses Side Quest

Hey, can anyone help me figure out to complete the side quest to get the department store sticker where you have to find this scientist's lost glasses. I've been wondering for hours and taken down every web and log I can get to, but some I can't figure out how to reach, so if anyone is willing to help I would really appreciate it ^^

The glasses should be deep in the South Aventurine Forest. Somewhere along the way to the Pinsir/Hereacross event.
