Really? What were the positives and why did they disappear?

Well, to start, there was free education and the government would even pay you money to go to university or college. That doesn't exist anymore.

When I was younger, I didn't see how trashy Dutch people can be. Now that I do, it really annoys me and even infuriates me from time to time. Then there are shitty/extremist political movements that have way too much support from mostly Dutch people with double nationalities. My generation is being blamed for not working hard enough etc, mostly by older people (this is probably the same for multiple countries).

It has just gone south, really

That's sad ... I don't really know how to respond to it ... but I think these kinds of problems are in other countries, so you might just try and be hopeful, I guess, that things will be better there.

Yeah, I reckon. But for me, it's a reason to live abroad. I really, really want that.

I guess, in general, the Netherlands is just bland, nothing special or anything that distinguishes it from other countries. Most things we have are from other countries

Yeah, I'd also want to live abroad because of certain things I dislike about my country, although, I don't intend to stay too long in one place since I'm fond of travelling.

Well, maybe you see it as bland, but you might not know, there's that special something to it once you go abroad.

Well I live in America and what you could find depends on where you go. Specifically, I lived in Florida, where you had beautiful beaches, diverse culture, water parks, amusement parks, sports stadiums...you can never really be bored if you live there (as long as you have the money, of course.)

Where I am living at right now is our nations capital, Washington, DC. Completely different from where I was living before. The buildings are mostly made from bricks. You can enjoy going to many museums, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, White House, etc. However, our politics have gotten...pretty crazy lately. So I would be careful if you were to go to any areas where people are gaining political attention like the White House.

There are also country-like areas like Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina...basically, depending on where you are, there is something for everyone.

Hahaha... I thought you'd say that you don't value it, but you actually worship it lol. I don't pay a lot of attention to news though

Anyways, to get back on point, I'll just say that you should pay more attention to the good in your country so that you may appreciate it, even for a bit. :)
