Blocked item in Byxbysion Grotto

In Byxbysion Grotto, specifically in the Mr. Bigglesworth room, there are two visible items: a TM, and what I'm fairly sure is a Dawn Stone. The problem is, the Dawn Stone is blocked on all sides by rock formations and a mining rock, and I can't find any way to access it. How do I get the item?

It's one of the few that isn't, along with the Shiny and Dusk stones.

After mining the rock once, mine it again (using blast powder) to get access to the Dawn Stone.  Blast Powder can be acquired through Pickup and bought in 7th street.

I could swear during my last night mining frenzy I got one Dusk stone. 

Maybe I need to sleep, Im seeing things i think.

Well, I just consulted the item guide, so it might be wrong.  I somewhat remember getting a dawn stone, but it's been too long for me to accurately remember.
