FraRPetO
Ahh, ideas. I love them So, this was a nice idea I got when I made my X-League team, and I'm sure it could be really awesome if it's done right @ Leftovers Trait: Victory Star EVs: 68 HP / 252 Atk / 80 SAtk / 108 Spd Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Role Play - V-create - Stored Power - Overheat Know that Contrary Spinda? This is the Victini version Victini uses Role Play on Serperior, then gains Contrary V-create to boost Def, SDef and Spd with amazing STAB 180 Base Power Overheat to boost SAtk with great STAB 140 Base Power Stored Power for awesome power when you've gained boosts by Contrary Leftovers for HP recovery, which is always useful @ Light Clay Trait: Contrary EVs: 40 HP / 216 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Dragon Pulse - Reflect - Light Screen Semi-defensive Serperior with both Screens for ultimate protection Leaf Storm to raise SAtk with nice STAB 140 Base Power Dragon Pulse to hit Dragon types, and other types who don't resist it Screens for defences Light Clay, so the screens stay longer @ Life Orb/Leftovers Trait: Defiant EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Stealth Rock If Victini or Serperior will ever fall, this will be the first one I will send out, unless opponent is Fighting type Swords Dance to boost attack if necessary Sucker Punch to be safe from faster opponents Iron Head against Rock types that would make it hard for Victini to defeat Stealth Rock when I get the chance to set them up Life Orb for extra damage, which is necessary if I don't get a chance to boost attack with Swords Dance Defiant if someone will ever bring out Intimidate users @ Life Orb Trait: Reckless EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Fake Out - Hi Jump Kick - Wide Guard - Rock Slide Standard Mienshao with support Fake Out to gain a free move for Victini/Serperior Hi Jump Kick for big damage Wide Guard to protect the team from moves that would hit all my Pokémon Rock Slide against Flying and Bug types Life Orb for extra damage Reckless to boost Hi Jump Kick @ Life Orb Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 136 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def / 56 SDef / 8 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Brave Bird - Crush Claw - Tailwind - Rock Slide Strong attacker with speed boosting support Brave Bird for strong STAB Crush Claw with Sheer Force + Life Orb for nice damage Tailwind to double team's speed if needed Rock Slide with Sheer Force + Life Orb as well Life Orb because of Sheer Force, which cancels the recoil from it @ Life Orb Trait: Swarm EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Quick Guard - Iron Head - Megahorn - Pursuit If I will ever have a problem with Trick Room, which is a really, really good move, I'll send out this beast Quick Guard to protect the team from priority moves Iron Head for STAB Megahorn to destroy those who set up Trick Room, which are usually Psychic types Pursuit if I have a feeling they're gonna switch out Pokémon Life Orb to secure more OHKOs from this beast Swarm to boost the already powerful Megahorn when HP is low I didn't want to use Role Play on my X-League team, because not all leaders do Doubles/Triples And if they ever suspect me going to use Role Play on Serperior, it's never gonna work, as they WILL find a way to counter it Tell me what you think about this team, I haven't tried it out, but I will soon Any suggestions are always appreciated
renowner
Flash fire houndoom would be a real problem to that it seems.... And in singles, victini won't do well at all... Although it is certainly an interesting team idea for doubles!
Administrators Ikaru Posted July 22, 2012 Administrators Share Posted July 22, 2012 Interesting; I was thinking people would go for Skill Swap with Spinda for something like this, but, this actually seems a lot more effective; Serperior certainly isn't as dead weight as Spinda would be after Skill Swapping... if only Victini had some form of recovery ): But imo it seems like you have that initial combo and then just the same few Pokemon you always use, though, so aside from Serperior and Victini it doesn't seem like anything new... Probably my only problem with this
FraRPetO
Well, the only thing I wanted to try was Victini and Serperior with Role Play I just added other pokemon, just to make it full team, it's kinda rushed And I just really like 5 Gen
Guest
That's actually Genius...
Phazer
Glare on Serperior might be more helpful.
chasedawg98
Don't get me wrong I love the team and the whole contrary victini thing, I think it's genius. However, I think this team is better suited as a regular doubles team rather than a league team since not every battle is gonna be a double or triple. And there are some leaders like shade, who do singles 95% of the time. Just my thoughts.
