Noivy
This team was inspired by playing Sonic Adventure again. Based off of the final boss, Perfect Chaos. This is a rain team. It has SS in it. But that's mild compared to what other chaotic tricks I can pull... I also stole Amethyst's team a little here, but for the most part, I swapped things @ Leftovers Trait: Drizzle EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Scald - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Perish Song - Toxic Perish Song. This has saved my arse so much from baton pass leads. Blaziken? Suuuure. Ninjask? Go away. Toxic to deal with Jellicent and Gastrodon which would have a field day ruining the other water types. I also use it for keeping stall out of my way to help make room for a Sweep. Scald for the oh so obvious STAB and HP Fighting to... I dunno, I really hate Steel types. @ Leftovers Trait: Swift Swim (Got a problem, Smogon?) EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Outrage - Substitute - Waterfall Perfection is a suitable name. I swap her in as Rain uses a Perish Song. This allows me to pull a Sub from a withdrawing opponet, Dance once, and inflict Perfect Chaos against the enemy. @ Life Orb Trait: Speed Boost EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Aqua Jet - Earthquake - Crunch - Ice Fang This is my endgame. I NEVER send in Chaos unless I need a quick revenge kill in the form of Aqua Jet. Chaos' pure offense with Speed Boost and massive attack makes this a Perfect last resort sweep. @ Leftovers Trait: Hydration EVs: 248 HP / 104 Def / 156 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Ice Shard - Curse - Waterfall - Rest Heart. She is just that. She is the wall. Heart can bulk hoards of things, and if there is a set up on the other side, Ice Shard it. Done. Simple. Restdration is amazing. And because of it, I dont need to worry about things like Chansey using Toxic to bring her down. @ Life Orb Trait: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Shadow Ball - Signal Beam - Charge Beam Thunder, Rain, and Lighting. Lighting is a revenge in the form of wicked fury. With the highest natural speed on the team, not a lot of things can stop him. Charge beams for clean up and the occasional boost. The other moves... I admit, I just threw in there. @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Aura Sphere - Weather Ball - Hidden Power [ice] THUNDER! The Special powerhouse that's a last resort next to Chaos. It's massive Special attack can leave lots of things seeing stars, and it's special move pool is amazing. (Yes, I put Raikou on a lot of my teams. If people knew just how good it was, it'd be OU.) Rain (Politoed) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Drizzle EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Scald - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Perish Song - Toxic Perfection (Kingdra) (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Swift Swim EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Outrage - Substitute - Waterfall Chaos (Sharpedo) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Speed Boost EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Aqua Jet - Earthquake - Crunch - Ice Fang Heart (Lapras) (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Hydration EVs: 248 HP / 104 Def / 156 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Ice Shard - Curse - Waterfall - Rest Lightning (Jolteon) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Shadow Ball - Signal Beam - Charge Beam Thunder (Raikou) @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Aura Sphere - Weather Ball - Hidden Power [ice] Threats: I'll tackle this later. Phazer
Generic sand team could run through this, holding the common Gastrodon wall. This team also has nothing to counter ground attacks, so maybe Zapdos over Raikou so Excadrill doesn't destroy.
renowner
You don't have a spinner either, so what i've done in the past, or really, just my generic gen5 spinner, is: -Tentacruel @air baloon Ability: Liquid ooze E.V.s: 252 spd, 252 sp.atk, 4 sp.def Timid nature: (-atk, +speed) -Sludge wave -Ice beam -Scald -Rapid spin This tentacruel, noone seems to expect, because almost everyone who doesn't battle me is used to the generic bulky wall set-up set. They don't relize that tentacruel can actually be fast! It speed ties with max speed salamence. When they don't read (WAAAY more often than you'd think) They waste a turn (or two even!) trying to hit it with a ground type move. Ice beam OHKO's salamence, without yache berry usually, and has actually swept a few teams before. He can still take a hit or two though, and could help your ground weakness out, without hurting your team much. And could get rid of hazards. However, if air baloon is gone, you still have no ground immunity, and you still have his electric weakness anyway. So another idea would be zapdos, the zapdos I generally use is: Zapdos @leftovers Ability: lightningrod E.V.S 152 Hp, 216 Sp.Atk, 140 speed Nature:modest (-atk +sp.atk) -Agility -Thunder/thunderbolt -Roost -Hidden power (ice) This guy can sweep unexpectedly with agility, and would be a good addition to cover your type weaknesses without losing your electric attacks, and his lower speed can be made up for with agility! His main downfalls however, are his inability to beat tyrannitar, excadrill sometimes, and ferrothorn also usually beats him. Finally, a good pokemon Who I think is a great addition to any team: Latias, @Leftovers Ability: levitate E.V.s: 252 H.P, 240 Def, 16 Sp.Def. Nature: Bold (Atk-, Def+) -Calm mind -Substitute -Recover -Dragon pulse This guy is a great tank, and still has pretty decent speed! (256) His defense is raised to 303, and his special defense is origionally at 300, so with a calm mind, it shoots up to 450! He can tank ice beams, using calm mind, substitute when it hits below 25%, and recovering the damage off, when you're at enough power, destroy everything else with dragon pulse! I usually set him up against ferrothorns, because it can wall off gyro ball with subs, then recover, but be sure not to use the same pattern between them or else you'll get leech seeded! It's really a great pokemon, and can usually survive ditto too! (since it's either in a sub, or can recover off the damage inflicted for 5 turns until it runs out of pp) All in all, I think latias would be the best adition to your team, and you should probabally take off either raikou or Jolteon. Latias will take electric hits great, and nulls all ground moves! (unless gravity is in play) It also is great against fighting moves that could threaten your lapras. As well as the grass moves that would hit politoad, or sharpedo. Ice moves could in turn be walled by lapras, sharpedo, or politoad, if its strong enough for you to need to switch out. The only thing you'll have to be carefull about are dragon moves, and if you've got at least 2 calm mind, you can usually wall a dragon hit ,and OHKO the dragon with dragon pulse! Phazer
I say Zapdos would be the best switch, it has perfect synergy with Politoed. Taking Grass and Electric types that could kill it, and Politoed taking the common HP Ice and other ice moves.
