You know a mega evolution is poorly designed (read: it piles up random brokeness on top of random brokeness, instead of trying to make the base form better at what it already does) when it is capable of doing this in Ubers, while its base form has fallen all the way down to NU.

Your rival was a newbie, that Deoxys didn't even have a focus sash, he risked (and lost) a speed tie with Salamence (so did you, Sucker Punch was much safer there), he didn't even send Pdon that counters Kangaskhan easily, and he kept the Dialga on TWO PuP.

Kangaskhan is broken in OU, but is not that good in Ubers. Gengar and Salamence typically outclass it. If one single replay is enough to prove something, then Magikarp should go to Anything Goes considering how many videos on youtube show him sweeping out entire teams that lack Normal resistances with the gimmicky BellyPass+Flail combo

EDIT: Mods, thanks for fixing the edit-post error. I hope you also fix the unintended (and obviously senseless) report

Oh, and for the guy who sent the RB replay recently: with Level Balance, the generally awfull sets, the randomizer parties causing huge matchup issues, and the fact that the opponent was really bad; it's not surprising you won either, and either way it does not give you the rights to brag about legends, especially considering they spawned randomly instead of being purposefully included on the team.

THAT; and the fact that legend=/=uber. How many freaking times i will have to say it?

SECOND EDIT:

I meant that Salamence and Gengar are more consistently useful than Kangaskhan, who is walled into oblivion by multiple dangerous Ubers like Pdon, Defensive Giratina, Perish trapper Gengar or any Aegislash correctly used. And the double sucker punch can break the substitute and damage Salamence, and you have Aegislash to counter the substitute variant anyway, so i keep that it was the optimal coure of action.

You didn't make me "look bad", neither I want you to. I just can't stand blunders of that magnitude, nor players willing to leave the game decided entirely by the RNG, especially since the days of Swagger Prankster spam that temporarily turned the game into a glorified casino roulette throwing all the strategy trough the window.

Also, still wondering why you take every friendly challenge I sent to you on a post as a direct attack to your integrity.

Kangaskhan is broken in OU, but is not that good in Ubers. Gengar and Salamence typically outclass it.

1) Of course he was, most people on SD are.

2) Life Orb is as valid as Focus Sash on Deo-A, not everyone want to lead with it. Besides, with SP hitting twice, explain to me what difference would Focus Sash have made. If anything, he should have tried to outprioritize Sucker Punch with Extremespeed, so that my move would fail.

3) Using Sucker Punch on a Pokemon that is infamous for carrying Dragon Dance and Substitute is NEVER the "much safer" option.

4) As usual, you make ridiculous claims without backing them up. Gengar is a trapper, Salamence is a set-up sweeper and Kangaskhan is a wallbreaker, so saying that one of them outclasses the others makes no sense: they fulfill very different roles and in fact, wasn't it for the "you can only have one mega per team" clause, they would be perfectly capable of working together in the same team. But since that clause exists, and only one can be used in a team, then which is "better" depends entirely on the needs of the team. With two ghosts already in my team there is no way I could use Gengar, and I need Fake Out much more than I need Dragon Dance.

5) And all the above is without mentioning the fact that, as usual, you run your mouth without actually reading the post you are quoting, and trying to understand what its point is. My post was never meant to be of the "hurr durr Kanga so stronk" kind. It was simply meant to highlight the fact that Mega Kanga is a relevant threat in Ubers, while regular Kanga is in NU which, in my opinion, makes Mega Kanga a bad design of a mega, because it takes a mediocre Pokemon and piles up random brokeness on it untill it becomes Uber, instead of trying and making it better at what it already does. In other words, Mega Kanga is not an improved Kanga, it is simply a different (and absolutely broken) Pokemon which, again, is a poor design for a Mega. This is all I was trying to say.

Now I understand that since, at least from your distorted point of view, I made you "look bad" when we last crossed paths, now you must put your best efforts into making me "look bad" as a form of "revenge". But leaving aside the fact that this whole rivalry between you and me exists only in your head (because, again, I don't find you to be interesting), if you are so dead set in making me look bad you should bring to the table something better than obvious statements ("your opponent was a noob") or ridiculous claims not supported by facts ("Gengar is better than Kanga"). For now all you are accomplishing is to further embarrass yourself.

The sooner you realize how pathetic you look in dragging this pointless feud with me (a feud that, again, exists only in your mind), the better it is, for your own good. Personally, I find I have wasted way too much time on this tomfoolery, so from now on I shall make it a point to never answer, address, or take into consideration any post you make. If you could be so gracious as to do the same for me, that would be great.

Lol, using setup moves in the face of Giratina, and complaining that you phaze him out, that Sarda deserved that 6-0...

Playing chess in pokémon. A Pawn checkmating a King is not something common

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-323736623

And a King checkmating another, even less (but is possible, with a discovered check mating the oponent).
