Solve-A-Puzzle Giveaway thread simply stands for giving away pokemons based on solving some mini puzzles. Here's what you are supposed to do! - Request a pokemon! - Choose your Challenge! ( Its Portmanteaus,trivia,parameters, lost letters and mashups. Explanations are written below) - Correctly solve the puzzle I give you! - Enjoy your free pokemon! Note: Every pokemon in this thread is perfectly bred x5 31 IV's with correct natures + egg moves. How the Puzzles are working? Portmanteaus Reveal hidden contents Portmanteaus is the game of creating word chains by linking them to eachother. You combine last letters of a pokemon related word into another one's first letters to make a chain. For example , If my question is [Grass type Pokemon] [Gen 5 Pokemon] , Answer could be Celebisharp. It also could be vileplumeloetta. Only rule here is you have to link at least 2 letters and at most 4 letters! Means stuff like ariadostaraptor wont count. Since S is the only linked letter. Scraftyshield doesnt count, since 5 letters are linked. Arceus forms and silvally forms also counts , Arceus steel can be encoded as [Steel type Pokemon] Trivia Reveal hidden contents If you choose trivia, I will simply ask you a question. If you answer it correctly, you will earn your pokemon. ( It will be about anything related to pokemon, spin off games and TCG are included. Parameters Reveal hidden contents Parameters aka params, stands for the pokedex search parameters on reborn.psim.us. When you want to dex search something specific , for instance water types that can learn earthquake, you go to reborn.psim.us , enter to lobby and type " /ds water type, earthquake " the result of that search will be your answer. Simple right ? It wont be simple when I make it super complicated haha! A better explanation how I can make it super complicated. Simply there are too many search criterias. /dexsearch [parameter], [parameter], [parameter], ... - Searches for Pokémon that fulfill the selected criteria Search categories are: type, tier, color, moves, ability, gen, resists, recovery, priority, stat, weight, height, egg group. Valid colors are: green, red, blue, white, brown, yellow, purple, pink, gray and black. Valid tiers are: Uber/OU/BL/UU/BL2/RU/BL3/NU/BL4/PU/NFE/LC/CAP. Types must be followed by ' type', e.g., 'dragon type'. 'resists' followed by a type will show Pokémon that resist that typing, e.g., 'resists normal'. Inequality ranges use the characters '>=' for '≥' and '<=' for '≤', e.g., 'hp <= 95' searches all Pokémon with HP less than or equal to 95. Parameters can be excluded through the use of '!', e.g., '!water type' excludes all water types. The parameter 'mega' can be added to search for Mega Evolutions only, and the parameter 'NFE' can be added to search not-fully evolved Pokémon only. Parameters separated with '|' will be searched as alternatives for each other, e.g., 'trick | switcheroo' searches for all Pokémon that learn either Trick or Switcheroo. The order of the parameters does not matter. Lets give an example. If I write down /ds fairywind|!mist,psychic type,gen 3,earthquake , pokemons I will get as a result will either learn fairywind or doesnt learn mist, will be psychic type, will belong to gen 3 and can learn earthquake somehow. Mashups Reveal hidden contents Mash up is a simple game that will involve 3 or more pokemon names getting scrambled into 1 word. Your objective will be finding out what pokemons are involved in the mashup. To make this easier, I will be giving small hints if the pokemon amount is above 4. Example : 3 Pokemons | wccolrphamyisdolhe --> Claydol, Corphish , Mew Lost Letters Reveal hidden contents Lost letters are based on pokemon related stuff ( pokemon names, locations, abilities items moves and such ). I will only give you the vowels in the puzzle and you have to guess a suitable answer. For example , if the question is ie and the category is pokemon, two possible answers would be gible and pidgey. Only rule you should be careful with this is if all letters are small, you cant use first letter as capital letter. This means if the puzzle is ao instead of Ao , mons such as Arbok and Aron doesnt count as a solution. Due to this being too easy, I'll ask 3 of those in 1 request. ( Have to solve all ) Ongoing Challenges ! In this section, you will find unsolved bump challenges with their fix rewards. Unsolved challenges are open for everyone and anyone can answer to claim the price. For each puzzle there will be only 1 winner . Ongoing challenges may offer some rare shiny breed or something if the challenges are hard or just any pokemon that is avaible on the list if the challenges are easy. A possible answer was : Challenge #3 : Port : [Grass type move][Dark Type Pokemon][Steel Type Pokemon] Reward : Pokemon of choice. Solver : @TheWaddleDee A possible answer was: GigadraIncineroAron Challenge #4 : Lost Letters : aia (Pokemon), Iai (Move) ao ui ( Location ) Reward : Pokemon of choice.
