( Weedle, Squirtle, Mawile) - Weekly puzzles renewed. - Started working on another minipuzzle. Next week's theme will be starter pokemons, my objective will be completing all 21 starters available in the shop. ( 7/21 availability right now) Annoncument : I am now collecting good IV shiny pokemons to introduce in the shop. Shiny pokemons will share the same egg moves ( if they get egg moves) with the ones in my thread. But obviously , asking for shinies wont be as easy as the other challenges, you may expect 15+ port chains or 10 + mashed up words. Shiny pokemons will go live when I collect a good amount of them, so far I have 3. Last but not least, giving analysis on the added pokemons! Reveal hidden contents Reveal hidden contents Beedrill Mega is one of most hard hitting pokemons in the game, thanks to its good base attack paired with monstrous speed tier and adaptability. Has access to U turn and Poison Jab as 2 strong stabs, it can also use swords dance, fellstinger, knock off or even drill run to improve its coverage. Homewer, Beedrill - Mega is not preferred alot as mega by many people, because of its lacking coverage and certain walls like ferrothorn and toxapex can wall it without any problem. It is also very easy to revenge kill due to its horrific defense stat. Here's one of most used sets for beedrill : Beedrill @ Beedrillite Ability: Swarm EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - U-turn - Poison Jab - Drill Run - Knock Off Reveal hidden contents Blastoise Mega is one of of best special attacking megas . Its access to mega launcher and coverage moves like aura sphere / dark pulse / icebeam , makes it remarkable force. One thing dragging blastoise down is its speed tier, it wont survive against common ou metagame threats like tapus , celesteela and toxapex. It also offers utility, as you can run toxic and rapidspin on it. In terms of tanking stuff, certain water type pokemons like suicune and toxapex outclasses blastoise, so it fall short in usage. Here's a suggested set for blastoise mega : Blastoise @ Blastoisinite Ability: Rain Dish EVs: 136 HP / 168 SpA / 204 Spe Modest Nature - Rapid Spin - Scald - Dark Pulse - Ice Beam Reveal hidden contents Mawile mega is one of OU's best stallbreaker, its access to huge power and amazing dual stab combo makes it very threathening. It has access to all fang moves ( Thunder , Fire , Ice ) , it also gets sucker punch and knock off to threathen psychic types. Homewer it suffers from 4 Moveslot syndrome, the case where it gets too many useful moves but only has to pick 4, and based on those 4 certain pokemons will be able to wall it. For example if you run thunderfang on it, ferrothorn will be able to wall you meanwhile running firefang means toxapex is walling you. It also has a weak speed tier that makes it easy at revenge killing. But be careful, mawile can learn swords dance and its sucker punch becomes very threathening if mawile is boosted. Rex9999 Posted August 5, 2018 Share Posted August 5, 2018 hmm i tried solving challenge 18 but with that hint i have no ideia are you sure that is correct and theres no letters missing? i tried searching for pokemon with Q in their name in all egg groups but it always ends up being it has more than 1 A in its name or it has a G or H or Y or M in its name or it has more than 1 L, etc. and i dont think i missed any so yeah i have no ideia.
