FraRPetO
Another RMT, I bet you're getting tired of my teams @ Leftovers Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 136 HP / 252 Atk / 40 Def / 80 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge - Fire Punch - Pursuit This one sets up sandstorm, of course Mainly because so the opponent's pokemon can die easier when they have focus sash Stealth Rock to break multiscale Dragonite and so on Stone Edge for strong STAB Fire Punch against Ferrothorns Pursuit other weather pokemon @ Leftovers Trait: Clear Body EVs: 216 HP / 252 Atk / 40 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Meteor Mash - Zen Headbutt - ThunderPunch - Bullet Punch I've never really cared about Metagross, but after using it for a while, I fell in love with its strength Meteor Mash for STAB and get a random attack boost Zen Headbutt against Fighting types ThunderPunch for Water types Bullet Punch for priority @ Life Orb Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 172 HP / 80 Def / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Psychic - Energy Ball - Focus Blast Reuniclus, as usual on my team Psychic for STAB Energy Ball for random Water and Ground types Focus Blast for Steel and Dark types @ Choice Band Trait: Swarm EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Double-Edge - Iron Head - Megahorn - Pursuit This beast even destroys pokemon in Trick Room, and even Pursuits a scarfed Chandelure Double-Edge for those who resist other moves Iron Head for STAB, ohko's everything weak to it and some who doesn't resist it Megahorn with STAB, Choice Band and Swarm together makes destruction Pursuit to kill fleeing Psychic types @ Leftovers Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Trick Room - Flamethrower - Shadow Ball - Clear Smog As my team is pretty weak to Volcarona, I decided to use Flash Fire Trick Room Chandelure Trick Room to set up for Escavalier, Reuniclus and Conkeldurr Flamethrower those Steel and Bug types Shadow Ball for STAB Clear Smog to reset common Volcarona boosts @ Leftovers Trait: Guts EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Bulk Up - Drain Punch - Ice Punch - Mach Punch Conkeldurr always beast, this one doesn't fear burns Bulk Up to boost the beast attack Drain Punch for recovery and STAB Ice Punch against Flying/Ground that usually come in to this guy Mach Punch for priority, always works You're welcome to try and find a flaw, so maybe I could improve it I like this team, I've been testing it in ladder lately, and gone pretty good except against some people GG
Noivy
Oh man. This has got to be the only sand team I ever liked the looks of. Trick Room sand will catch a lot of people off guard. I approve of the Escaviler. It's something that no one ever see's much of any more.
Shanco
Great team. While I agree with Phalanx about Escavalier, I wouldn't suggest Pursuit. If you use it, you're locked into a 40 base power move (60 with the band), and while pursuing fleeing pokemon is cool and all, that business is best left to Tyranitar, and Dark is only super-effective against two types, one being covered by Megahorn. If you really feel that you need a Dark-type attack to take out other Chandelure, I suggest Faint Attack (well, it's either that or Knock Off). FraRPetO
It's 50 Base Power, and works like a charm Even kills Alakazam one hit without him switching out, if not it has Focus Sash It also Pursuits other weather pokemon, if they try to switch, so they can set up rain/sun later
Jupiter
I would advise replacing fire punch on Tyranitar for Dragon Tail / Superpower since Ferrothorns arent much popular in the current ladder. Dragon Tail being so you can bring out something like chandelure (aswell scout), and pursuit it so you wont have to deal with it later. Also works against a possible setup since barely anyone uses it (unexpected). And superpower since you can also use against ferrothorn if it comes to it. As for chandelure, 90% of Volcaronas run Hidden Power Rock, so Clear Smog might not be the BEST choice as you can get 2hit k.o'd unboosted, if you get a chance to use it, aswell as almost nobody uses volcarona in the current ladder. (Also mentioning since you have access to early rocks, you could possibly 1hit k.o). Could be replaced by substitute to catch scarfers trying to outspeed you, or something else. Worth mentioning, your conkeldurr is walled by Jellicent, present in most of top sand teams. A personal advice since you have 4 physical and 2 special attackers, add hidden power ice to chandelure so its able to deal with gliscors and skarmories at the same time. FraRPetO
Good idea with Dragon Tail/Superpunch, I haven't seen many Ferrothorns lately, I usually see them in all teams But I've had nice burns against other pokemon, which are nice, and defeated Scizors predicting a switch with it I haven't really seen Volcaronas with HP Rock or anything super effective, and Flamethrower has done good damage against Gliscors, so I was considering Sleep Talk, so I can switch in to Brelooms using Spore and then attack while asleep without worrying about it Sleep I know Conkeldurr is walled by Jellicent, but he doesn't need to do all the work I have Metagross with ThunderPunch, it can only fear burns, and Reunicus 2hkos it with Energy Ball, sometimes ohko when it has taken enough damage from Stealth Rock/Sandstorm But thanks for the feedback, I'll consider Dragon Tail
