Pokémon Reborn: Country-based run! THE JOURNEY!

Alright! So this will be the post where i upload all the stuff that happens during this run! This will be chapter one and i'll keep updating it in the comments, as a runner should do (Apparentely) So here we go! In case you missed it, this is the team!

Froakie: Gekkouga, male.

Pokémon was created in Japan, ninjas are one of the most japanese things ever... So there's that! 

 

Gible: Drachen, male

Representing Germany, as @FactoryofSadness said "one of the best countries around, always a threat to others"

 

Bulbasaur: Jess, female

Representing Greece, and a "thank you" to one of the 2 main sources of help for this run idea... as @Jess said " It loves sun, has Chlorophyll and is named after Venus (Venusaur), the Greek Goddess of beauty. It even learns Solar Beam"

 

Cubchoo: Misha, male

Representing Russia, again FoS came up with it: "an icy bear which thrives in the cold, counters Germany", Nuff said.

 

Rufflet: FactOfFree, male

Representing USA, the one who came up with the idea of this run needed a name

 

Ponyta: Nahuel, male

Representing Argentina, my own country, Nahuel mean "Jaguar" in "Tehuelche", which is the language native aboriginals had.. I know "Jaguar" doesn't fit to a horse, but it's a name you probably won't see anywhere else besides Argentina and perhaps Chile... And in addition to all that... Well, Nahuel is my IRL name... So yeah! He earned it.

 

Rotation: 

Sandile: GDayMate, male

Representing Australia, i just wanted an australian one and it may come in handy.

 

Hawlucha: Cuauhpi, male

Representing México, "Luchadores" are a thing in México, and i love Hawlucha, Cuauhpi was decided after the Eagle Warriors from the Aztec Empires, in his language, they were called "Cuauhpipiltin" (Close enough) So Cuauhpi was good enough for me! 

So here we go with the first part of (hopefully) this great run.

 

First Chapter: World united!

 

At this point and with this great team, i go kinda fast so i'll probably do 2/3 chapters per update so HERE WE GO:

 

With the main team on my bag i did all the events there are that i could do in Reborn, with no problem at all, trying to keep the guys all at the same lvl so everyone is up for everything! 

 

Fern was kinda easy, FactofFree had it's fun, same with Nahuel and Misha, taking down one each... And then the main event started, Team Rocket was kinda tough for some of us, such a Misha and Nahuel (Those damn rock types everywhere) BUT(T) we managed to get to the last room, get the explosives and get to that SON OF A ... Garchomp... And fight against Eclipse and Eclipse 2.0 remixed edition... That battle can be described with 2 worlds: DRACHEN: ... DEUTSCHLAND!!

 

After (almost literally) a couple of Dragon Rage we headed our way out to the factory(ofsadness) (My bad joke of the day) and i went straight up to the gym.

 

 

In the gym i had my first problem: FactOfFree doesn't like electricity so we needed someone who didn't mind at all OR someone who could take someone out before being taken down, GDayMate was too busy killing giant spiders and surfing on top of Box Jellyfishes so we had to go with Cuauhpi, who could easily take down the first BI...Pokémon..

 

After a little bit of training we were ready for the challenge, as expected Cuauhpi KARATE CHOPPE'D that BIT...Pokémon out with one hit (Everytime i read Karate Chop i read it like Ash in the anime does, the japanese version, he says something like "KARATE CHOPU" so i do the same everytime, don't judge) and managed to almost take down one Voltorb, including all the potions Julia had.. Jess and her tank-body along with Leech Seed took down Said Voltorb and almost the other one... Drachen took down the other one and Emolga, switching him to Nahuel to get a horse-like battle just like in the movie (I mean, i don't know what move, but there has to be a movie where horses fight, right?).

 

And for the final one i pretty much did everything i could so Gekkouga could take it out... Which it didn't happen so someone else took all that juicy exp (I can't remember who at this point) 

 

Badge was claimed and we went east expecting to have some green spaghetti fun (On the way i was thinking about capturing a Pangoro to represent China, let me know what you think).

Chapter 2: Vodka, Tequila and Dulce de Leche

 

As we were heading east to have our green spaghetti for dinner, i forgot there were some obstacles *cough*VICTORIA*cough* so we claimed our Pokémon Center, took down that girl (She's so insecure that she wants to take everyone down with her >.>) and once we exited the cave not before fighting that "pull-up your pants" gang...

 

So went south and had that fun with Cain and his new Oshawott (Jess bullied it kinda bad, it was almost sad to watch) after all that was done, we went up, hungry for that snipach spaghetti, we cut our way to Zel (Pun of the chapter, probably, maybe) and we had our fight.

 

So as for now, i did pretty much what i always do, which is "Alright, who needs exp? Drachen? Ok everyone, lets all die before him so he can take it down easily, understood? Here we go"... So that mouth with little legs and arms earned said exp. Then we took care of the surroundings, including saving grandma Day and grandpa Care, then inside the school we had some fun with Fern's acolytes and here is where the tittle makes sense:

 

Fern was pretty much destroyed by Misha, Cuauhpi and Nahuel, i made sure he didn't enjoy this battle, that little prick.. So after he ran away crying and mumbling something like "Team Meteor" and "I'll join the" .. I couldn't piece those sentences together so i minded my own bussines and went for the badge, Florinia was waiting for me not knowing that i have the power of the Earth.

 

Drachen, Gekkouga, Jess and i were enjoying some pop-corns while pieces of plants flew everywhere, it was kinda fun to watch, don't get me wrong.

 

The deforestation was done and we recieved our badge, i think the Pokémon center doesn't work when the pokémons are dead, so Florinia will probably need to gather another team and pretend that this never happened.

 

So with 2 badges on us we went to the north of Reborn, where some more green spaghetti is waiting for us, we talked to the police, and managed to get to where we were supposed to, just for that SON OF A MOTHER FU... Chatot with his .. Chatter... But we managed to take it down with no big surprises (By that i mean only one Pokémon left with almost no HP) we did our little encounter with Asuka Langley... I mean- Heather and we kept going, saving police officers and the day.

 

After all that (Again) Meteor destruction we finally got to where we wanted, to the double fight Against Chatot + 5... Some soft resets later, trying to figure out an ideal lead duo, we took care of that aswell, damn, we're taking care of alot of things now... If only i could take care of my STUDIES AND RESPONSABIL-

 

We talked again to Heather, just Heather, cause i didn't save one cop on purpose (>:3) and now we're heading to the Posion Gym, the toxic Gym, the LoL, Dota and CSGO, team... We're headed...To Corey's gym.

Chapter 3: Deal with your problems (Properly)

 

Corey, Corey Corey COREY.... Something like the first gym happened... DRACHEN... DEUTSCHLAND!! (At least for the first 3 Pokémon) Then the aftermath took care of my poor machine of destruction. 

 

Then the guys all together did what they could, nothing special till we could get to the Crobat and oh boy that Crobat is evil... Thankfully Gekkouga could confuse him before fainting like me every month when the bills arrive... Then Cuauhpi took it down with Aerial Ace, of course not without suffering and praying to every single god there is to pray... That Crobat needed to hit himself... But he didn't... HE MISSED HIS ATTACK! So i guess we prayed too hard, cause Cuauhpi did a crit too, so yeah.. We had way more luck than we should..

 

After all that drama with Corey and Heather, we go to the bridge... And well, you know what happened there... And i'll allow myself to say the following "If you're going through hard times, that is not an option, there's always a way to solve stuff that is not that, remember there are people that had been through way more horrible stuff than you probably ever will and today they're still here with us, and they better than ever, an example to the world, and you can be that too, if they could, you can too, they're not super heroes, you know?... Just never go full Corey". 

 

 

Then we rushed our way to Opal, met everyone there, including Spooky Scary Ghost Gym Leader, we came back and foward, had our encounter with Cable with Garchomp, won against Eclipse and wanna-be-Eclipse, and after some more back and foward we're finally ready for the gym... BUT NO, VICTORIA HAD TO SHOW UP WITH HER INSERCURITIES TO STOP US AGA-... You know what, whatever, you wanna dance? Let's go.

 

After that was taken care off, we solved that puzzle (At this point, i've been there so many times and i don't even think when i'm doing it, i just do it) we faced the gym leader, Misha finally was important again, Gekkouga was important for the very first time (Taking out that Anorith) and the rest just did a really good job, proud of all of them.

 

We claimed our badge, and then after some MORE back and foward, coming and going, we had to save Heather, which let me add, it wasn't as easy as i thought it would be... Yanmega did pretty much all the heavy lifting while i was KSing the Pokémon... We saved her, now she doesn't talk... Note to GameFreak and to Ame: Electricity is supper effective against Normal from now on, according to Heather.

 

So that's what we did on my first sitting, right now i had nothing else to share, and because all this was done in one sitting may lack some details.. Hopefully is still enjoyable... And as always ... THANK YOU! I love this community.
