Mczipo
Might as well put my team up here for anybody to poke around at and put in feedback/opinions. This has been my team for about a year now give or take a few days and I haven't really changed anything about it because it works decently well. Primum (Gengar) (F) @ Focus Sash Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast - Icy Wind - Energy Ball Up first we have Gengar my lead. Focus Sashed, Max Speed and Special Attacking Gengar. No tricks with this Gengar here except for Icy wind. Typically I can base what's faster, what isn't and how to deal with it blah blah blah. Gengar can counter a variety of leads I encountered and can usually take out at least one Pokemon before biting the dust. Good thing about having Icy wind on it is that when facing another lead, Gengar can slow it down and I can then A. Stay in or B. Switch. Also, If I know for a fact the other player is going to switch, I can use Icy Wind and hinder whatever would be coming out, most of the time making it slower than Gengar. Solus (Weavile) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Pressure EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Ice Shard - Night Slash - Ice Punch - Brick Break Here we have Weavile. I don't know about other people but I like Weavile because it can hit pretty hard and it's faster than most other Pokemon. I used to run Aerial Ace on it instead of Ice Shard to deal damage to fighting types, but I swapped it out because of Mixed results. Besides, Priority Moves can sometimes change the outcome of the game. Thorn bush (Jolteon) (F) @ Choice Specs Trait: Volt Absorb EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball - Signal Beam - Hidden Power [Grass] This is the Mascot of my team I suppose and one of my favorite Pokemon. Jolteon is quick and packs a punch with Choice Specs, Boosting its Special Attack up to around 570 or so. This is my League Jolteon, so I have HP Grass on it instead of HP Ice. Some people don't expect how much damage this thing will do and it can catch them off guard. For example, I've fought teams with Heatran on it. The opponent would switch Heatran in because a Thunderbolt wouldn't be effective against it. Although because of the Stab boost along with the specs, the Thunderbolt would do over half allowing me to take out a possibly threatening Heatran. Sensuke (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Technician EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Superpower - Pursuit Scizor is the high Physical attacker, Max Attack while Banded. Not much to say here because it's a basic Scizor setup but I like it because of the Stab and Technician boost Bullet Punch gets. Starmie @ Focus Sash Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Recover - Scald - Psychic - Thunderbolt Starmie is the usual Spinner and Special Attacker. Once again this is my League Starmie so instead of Rapid Spin it has Recover. Because of Natural Cure I can send it in when I predict a Twave, Toxic, or Will-o-wisp. It can also hinder the other Pokemon with luck if Scald gets a burn. Mr.Sunshine (Dragonite) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Outrage - Earthquake - ExtremeSpeed - Fire Punch Lastly there's Dragonite. Sometimes I substitute between Choice Scarf and Choice Band because of the change in attack. But this is a basic Dragonite. Multiscale of course because it's the better of the two abilities. With Choice Band the attack of Dragonite can reach around 600 or so, give or take based on the nature. But I can say that a 600 Attack Extremespeeding or Outraging Dragonite certainly hurts a lot. DonutFilling (Ditto) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Imposter Here's Ditto the 7th member of my League team because I don't really use legends. (The exception being my Hail team) Anyway most people know how useful Ditto can be, all you need to do is wait for the opponent to set up, then switch into this guy to get all the added bonuses and be faster than what was copied. I'm not the greatest at RMTs, so the descriptions might suck, but oh well. Leave opinions, feedback, and any ideas you want.
diana
Nice team, considering you made it to X-League.
SilentSinnerInBlue
I am actually surprised to not see any stat increasing moves here. You'll need them just in case you run into the likes of Blissey or DD Dragonite. The team types are well balanced, and I can't pinpoint multiple weaknesses. You also seem to have a lack of multi-target moves. Some Leaders like double/triple battles, so be prepared for that. I love how you put in Ditto as your trump card. Always pisses challengers off when their Pokemon loses to them self. (^・ω・^=)~
FraRPetO
Seing as his Ditto can copy all the stat boosted Pokémon, he doesn't really need other stat boosting moves as he has Choice items to boost the attacks enough, I guess But this set on Weavile owns: Swords Dance Night Slash Low Kick (legendary Pokémon are usually very heavy, so it would be better than Brick Break, except for some) Ice Shard With Focus Sash, it's a really good set
Mczipo
So, I'm just bumping this thing so I don't have to make a new one. I am awaiting all of your scorn and pro talk in which I most likely will ignore and not change a thing with my team.
Cowtao
Okay. Your team suc- *shot*But really. You got a pretty dame good team. I never really thought of using Gengar as a Focus Sash lead as I mostly used the generic kinda leads like Infernape, Azelf, Politoed, etc. What kinda throws me off is the nature on that Dragonite. You don't have protect so I don't see exactly why you'd have that kinda nature on Dragonite as there is no real way for Dragonite to regain it's Multiscale but really, that's just me being picky. Great team dude!
