Vhandrake Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Well, i didn't want to do this, but since apparentely i have no chances with my current abilities/strategies or whatever, you see, i'm doing a Pokémon-specific item run, (using Pokémon that only have items that are specific to them, and of course, using said item) so the team now is this: Pikachu, Chansey, Clamperl, Marowak, Ditto and Farfecth'd ... The thing is, i made it kinda-ok till Serra's gym.. Now i'm stuck here and i don't know what to do... (If only Marowak was fast enough) So... Do you have any ideas? Something to share? Gimme some time and I'll think of some ideas to tackle Serra EDIT: @Vhandrake First of all, you have Lax Incense, which boosts Evasion on switch in. Maybe give it to Ditto. Then Make Ditto transform into something fast with Nature Power (which becomes Mirror Shot), or Flash Cannon. So, Vanilluxe or Cryogonal respectively! Then, wish a bit for luck in the speed ties and abuse the steel moves. One first idea I had. Also, Covet Quick Claws from wild meowths and Give one to Marowak. Maybe this will give it a chance to go first and take out something! Would be great if someone could hack Iron Tail on your Pikachu too... This might cause enemies to hit themselves, hence lower their evasiveness, hence increase your critical hit chance (stupid field, I know). You can teach Fling to Marowak too, and have it throw an Iron Ball (or its Thick Club) to Froslass. If you're lucky to survive of course Or breed Iron Head from an Aron on Marowak! Then Chansey intoxicated Froslass and did some damage... Marowak came in and guess what? Froslass missed and Marowak was able to take her down and i got my freaking badge... I think i never had such an intense gym battle... Now i'm about to face Radomus, but i'll do it sometime on the next week, can't keep wasting time... Expand On that note, i have to tell you that one of the rules i made up for this run is that all my Pokémon can only use the item that is specific to them (Marowak can use Thick Club and nothing else, for example, same as Ditto with it's powders) And Sandboxed some moves, just to make it possible, (Chansey with toxic, stealth rock and Pikachu with Hidden Power) Otherwise i wouldn't be able to get this far xD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or you actually flung your thick club? xD Expand Bonemerang, that thing with Thick Club destroyed pretty much everything (And most of the times with just 1 hit) i just needed that god-like luck that made Froslass fail it's 90% accuracy attack (And if we count the other 2 failing it's 3 times almost in a row that a 90% accuracy attack missed). xD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
