Shanco
For this section, we will be covering one of the more recent event Pokemon, Meloetta. Meloetta is a Normal-Psychic type with stats akin to an offensive Chansey or Blissey, but can transform into a Normal-Fighting pokemon with high Attack and Speed. Post your set for Meloetta below in this format: [set Name] [species Name] (M/F) @ [Hold Item] Trait: [Ability] EVs: [EVs] [Nature] Nature - Move 1 - Move 2 - Move 3 - Move 4 [Description of Set] Please note that the format for the set's details matches that produced by Pokemon Online's Export Button, so feel free to copy/paste sets directly from your teams, with your own description provided. Shanco
How to annoy your opponents Meloetta @ Expert Belt Trait: Serene Grace EVs: 100 Atk / 156 SAtk / 252 Spd Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef) - Close Combat - Psychic - Relic Song - Thunder Mixed Sweeper set. Meloetta is nowhere near your ordinary mixed sweeper; it has stats and formes that can adapt to what it's needed to do through Relic Song. In Aria forme, Psychic will be your secondary STAB attack, but its main purpose is to ward off the Fighting-types that would hurt it while it's in its Pirouette Forme. Meanwhile, Pirouette Forme gets its own STAB attack, Close Combat, that hurts like hell with that 128 base Attack, DESTROYS your usual physical walls like Blissey, and brings about a lot of good coverage with Psychic and Relic Song. The last move is Thunder. Thunder, while not being a STAB move for either forme (unlike the other three, since Relic Song is normal-type) will eliminate potential Pirouette Forme threats, most notably Skarmory. The Expert Belt gives all those super effective attacks a boost (Meloetta's moves can hit 9 different types for super effective damage which for three moves is awesome).
