So, Route 1

I dont quite get the pinsir/heracross thing. everytime i beat one, the other flees without destroying something or snapping a web. Am I missing something

Also I cant work out what causes them to appear after I do the honey, I tend to just leave the area for a bit but I dont know if it is time or area reset or what.

Also, is there anywhere I can buy honey I have forgotten about/missed?

I believe they need 250 steps or go with those plowers that teleport you out. The whole puzzle is about destroying the logs and webs, if neither of the 2 destroy anything then you have to go to another tree and try there.

Basically what you need are the Tauros to ride on, honney, and beating both of those pokemon to get the effect, and progress slowly

If youneed more help just ask, also there are videos on youtube

I thought it was based off time, not steps. I could be completely wrong though.

They will only clear an obstacle near the tree they appeared at. If you want to get rid of a log in your path, you need help from Pinsir. So you would have to defeat Heracross. If you want to get rid of a web, you need to get help from Heracross. So get rid of Pinsir. Some of the logs in the woods are not destroyed, but rather pushed by a Bouffalant from the main area of Route 1. You will also need a Tauros to reach some of the trees or obstacles.

You can buy honey in Lapis Ward in one of the shops (the one with the Spritzee tile puzzle)
