I keep cycling out between Pkmn Rumble Blast and Tales of the Abyss for 3DS. Also, I sit and listen to the whole opening vid for ToA because it's surprisingly good. Great game, almost felt like a piece of literature with all the symbolism and themes that were jam packed in the story. Shanco Posted September 15, 2012 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Alright, I'll name off the games that I'm playing right now. - NHL 13 just might be the only hockey I get this year. - I've always loved the Mario Kart series, and I'm playing MK6 (wii) and MK7 right now. Just got Wii so I'm still going through the Grand Prix mode, but I'm primarily playing online in MK7. - I'm not putting down Pokemon Black until I catch 'em all. I'm at 599 right now. Finding a Thunderstone and evolving my Eelektrik will get me to 600. - I'm not a big fantasy guy, so I tend to steer clear of games like Final Fantasy and Tales of the Abyss, yet I find myself playing Dragon Quest IX. Does that make sense to you? - My favorite non-Nintendo series is by far the Gran Turismo series. Currently playing the fifth installment. - Kid Icarus: Uprising got easier once I fixed the controls to use A/B/X/Y instead of the Touch Pad. - My siblings and I are best matched in Super Smash Bros. Poetic Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 At the moment, I'm playing... Pokemon StormSilver: Going through on a Nuzlocke adventure through Johto. Fun. Pokemon BlazeBlack: Once again, going on a Nuzlocke through Unova. Significantly harder than StormSilver, though. Golden Sun: I've always kicked myself for never finishing The Lost Age, so I'm going to beat the entire series hopefully FFV And VI: I love Final Fantasy, what can I say? Tales of the Abyss: The PS2 version, btw. I've loved the Tales games ever since playing Symphonia, so how could I not take a shot at Abyss after finally getting a PS2? And finally Persona 3: Shin Megami Tensei is an amazing series despite how rage inducing it is, and I'm not one to bypass an amazing game like this one. Other than that, there's the occassional Theatrhythm playthrough, beating dark notes and very slowly accumulating Rhythmia. Stupid rhythmia. For Nostalgia and runthrough purposes, I've got back into Terraria and Worms Reloaded (I REALLY WANT TO GET WORMS REVOLUTION ASWELL)... I also tried doing a bit more Magicka, but struggled to understand why somestime people in multiplayer wants us to kill ourselves, so.... yeah... Aside from that, running Spore Galactic Adventures like a maniac (got all 12 archetypes (TWO KNIGHTS INCLUDED >>)), so I've racked over 100 hours on that in slightly over two weeks... inb4 no life. Still playing Xenoblade Chronicles (addiction), and I'm gonna pre-order Pokemon W2 (for us Europeans it comes out on the 12th...). Oh, and doing Kingdom Hearts 3DS on CRITICAL MODE (which I've died like 10 times so far and I'm only on the second world), occasional KIU multiplayer... and a bit of Guardian Heroes and Portal 2 on the neverused Xbox. (I need a fucking playstation, ANY OF THEM. PS1 = Final Fantasies 5 and 9, PS2 = Persona 4 and the most important Kingdom Hearts games, and PS3 = Little Big Planet 2 and Shadow Of The Colussus in HD. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH). EDIT: Oh and also LoL. DragonQuest IX I loved that game, but then it disappeared... along with all my other DS games... in my DS case. One of her skill trees is completely OP but it takes a lot of skill points to really get it going. And now that I have that gold key, I'm gonna be perfectionistic and wait till my Assassin hits the ceiling at lvl 50 to open the chest in Sanctuary so I can get the best loot i can get from it. Only like 8 or 9 more levels. ; Oh yeah, like I mentioned- grabbed Black2. And played barely any of it before I couldn't stay awake anymore. Sleep schedule is still skewed atm. So far, loving the music, and the rival type character seems pretty legit. I haven't bothered to read up on bw2, so whatever's new and stuff is gonna be a surprise.
