Joker
You may be thinking; "Dude, there are already two other topics with people doing this kind of thing!" If you are thinking that.... Shuddap! << Due to my inability to be creative or original, I will be doing a Reborn league topic as well. Showing all my glory or fails! However, it will be different than that of Washman's or Ryan C's league topics. I plan to make each battle I have an epic battle scene and amazing story. Kinda like reading a small chapter in a book. Now, I'm not the best storyteller, believe you me. But, I might as well try, cause why not? Anyway, since I've already beat 12 of the leaders; This will start officially on Monday with an epic battle against Charlotte and will continue until X-League Amy. That being said, I look forward to giving you all an entertaining short story to read, and I hope you all enjoy them. Till Monday!
Joker
Burning Determination! You know, I've seen my fair share of bullshit during this challenge. Having stomped 12 leaders, you think the hardest part would be over. Needless to say, I was pretty confident when I walked into Charlotte's gym. "Yo sup, Fire Crotch!?" "Nothing much, I just hope you're ready to get stomped!" Being cocky as always, I already wanted this battle to be over with. So, after the formalities were over with, we got straight to business. To my surprise, her leads were different from what I've seen in the past. "Woah! Blaziken, Ninetales, and a Rotom-H, eh?" I won't lie, that confidence I spoke of earlier was drained. I've never seen or heard of her leading with a Blaziken, or Rotom-H. Ninetales, sure, but... Just... Woah. Once I got over the shock, I countered with Tsuna, Septus, and Jazz. My original goal was to counter her lead, but since she changed it so dramatically, I was left unsure what to do at this point. After a bit of thinking, I decided what I must do. "Tsuna, Septus! SPAM ROCK SLIDE! Jazz, stand there and look pretty!" Charlotte had a weird look on her face, but I guess she had something in her eye. Anyway, Jazz didn't like the "pretty" comment, so he ignored orders and used Thunder Wave, targeting her Rotom. Blaziken avoided harm by using that weenie move Protect, and Ninetales was completely destroyed. She then sent out her famous Charizard. "Pft! Is that all you got, challenger?! Well then, feel the burn!" "YOUR PUNS DO NOT SCARE ME, FIRE CROTCH!" "Then I guess I'll just have to burn them into your memory so you don't forget them, ever!" "That was bad, and you should feel bad!" Next thing I knew, her Rotom was overheating on Jazz. It took him awhile, but he eventually laughed. Next thing I knew, Septus was on the ground, completely out of stamina. Sadly, I withdrew him and set out Gastroll. Originally, I had planned for Charizard to be leading her pack of nitwits, but I guess she decided to save him for later. Regardless, Tsuna was still in great shape and was ready to kick more ass. So, having Tsuna continue to spam Rock Slide, I had Gastroll attack Rotom, and Jazz paralyze her Charizard. Unfortunately, her Charizard had the moves like Jagger. Because he dodged Rock Slide not once, but TWICE, WHILE paralyzed. Now, I'm not big on dancing, but she should send her Charizard to America's Got Talent or something. I laughed at that thought, but was shortly interrupted by her Blaziken KO'ing Gastroll. Tsuna, not liking other Fire/Fighting starters, quickly took it out with a Rock Slide, and to top it off, he got rid of that damn Charizard too! If I were one for puns, I'd say she was heated upon seeing a double down. But my amusement was short lived, her Rotom took out Jazz with a jolt of lightning so shockingly painful, Lugia's kids would feel it, and that's saying something considering Lugia is genderless. Wonder how that works? I guess th- Wow, sidetracked... Anyway, it was 3-3, and I was extremely worried at this point. "Give up, you flaming pile of suck!" Charlotte smirked and sent out her remaining 2 pokemon, as did I. "Alright, Chunkybum! A.I.! Lets win this!" I knew what was coming, I hated it, but I fucking knew! I took a deep breath as she sent out Darmanitan and Typhlosion. Knowing that I had to pull out all the stops to win this, I looked at A.I. "Buddy, I know you like to hax. So, do your job, and make her rage!" Funnily enough, all her Darmanitan's Stone Edge's missed. Chunkybum killed off Typhlosion with a banded Extremespeed. You ever see a Rotom shit bricks? Well, hers was getting desperate, spamming Overheat with no regard to the special attack drops. I suppose it was a last stand. But A.I. wasn't having any of that and finished it off with a swift Thunderbolt. All that was left was Darmanitan. This, guy. OHOHOHO this guy. Poor bastard must of been blind or something, I almost felt bad finishing it off......Nah, I laughed my ass off as Tsuna and Chunkybum tagged team it's ass with a good Rock Slide Extremespeed combo! Winning me the match, 3-0! "I won't shame you further by making a pun, Charlotte. I know it really burns you up. I'll just take my badge and leave your fine facility." She was really happy that I won, even so that she even threw the badge at me. She even said a few curse words she was so stoked. I left shortly after her celebration, holding my badge, full of myself, as usual. That was the first little chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it, and I look forward the next one. I'll be taking on Ciel, so look forward to two people being cocky.

Joker
Hopes Held High(In The Sky)! After hilariously defeating Charlotte, I set my sights on the graceful Ciel. Now, anyone that knows me knows that I hate birds. They're always chirping at the wrong times, they shit on our cars. They're just pricks. I guess you could say I wanted to win because I hated her type. Upon entering her gym, I was greeted by her jumping from 50 feet in the air. "Oh Shit! Where did you come from? Are you insane?" "Welcome, dear challenger! Are you ready to put on a show for the audience~?" Normally I'd be ecstatic about facing a new leader, mostly because my challenge is almost over. But, Ciel seemed weird. She always wanted to be in the spotlight, whereas I just wanted to kick ass and take names quietly. I don't want 50 people watching me, it's nerve wracking. Anyway, after the shock wore off, I gave her my answer. "Hell yeah I am! I should warn you though, I hate large crowds, so I'll have to kick your ass fast and jet." "Ohoho. Cocky are we, deary? Well then, lets not waste time. Up up we go~!" Before I could even retort, the gym floor suddenly flew up a good 60 feet in the air. I couldn't tell if she was bat shit crazy, or just really into her job. Wanting this to be over with quickly, I sent out Tsuna to begin the match. Ciel quickly lashed out with an Aerodactyl. The match up was bad, and I could tell that thing was gonna lay out Rocks. If that wasn't bad enough, I had 3 pokemon abusing Focus Sash. I commanded Tsuna to stall with a Fake Out, and he delivered, just like always. Now, here's where I was wanting some hax. You know, the kinda shit that makes people mad as hell. "Alright Tsuna! Crit this thing and prevent those rocks, Mach Punch go!" Well, he gave it a good jab, but it wasn't a crit. "Dammit, this is bad... We're not done yet though, who needs Fo-" I was cut short as her Aerodactyl went for an Aerial Ace, bringing Tsuna to his sash. I was shocked at first, but quickly realized we have another shot and preventing rocks. "Alright, we were given another shot. This time don't hold back, give that Mach Punch all you got! Crit buddy!" Unfortunately, the crit didn't happen that time either. Ciel being smart, got her rocks up, and made the fight extremely more difficult for me. Now, I made a stupid move, and made Tsuna go for Rock Slide.... Well.... That cost me one loyal primate. Sitting at a 5-6 score, Ciel was looking pretty smug. I merely glared as I sent out Jazz. "Guess you think you're pretty awesome now, huh? Whatever." Jazz shrugged off her Aerodactyl's Dragon Claw and fired off a Scald hot enough to make Charlotte look like a Refrigerator. She quickly sent out Yanmega to counter my derpy friend. Now see, the thing about Yanmega is, it's just annoying. Nothing more, nothing less. It just sucks, it's mean, ugly, it smells, IT ALWAYS GETS A SPEED BOOST.... Ahem, so I quickly withdrew Jazz and sent in A.I. Of course, the damn thing protected, just as planned really. However, my epic moment was short lived as she sent got flinch after flinch with Air Slash. But before A.I. could attack she withdrew Yanmega.</p> "You're a lot tougher than Fire Crotch, I'll give you that." "Ah, I always love to hear praise from my loyal fans!" I slightly twitched at that comment, but I awaited her choice. As fate would have it, she also carried the ever graceful Togekiss. As fate would also have it, it was her next choice. I decided to let A.I. out hax the haxer. And to my surprise, their hax was so great, so powerfully haxy, that it was cancelled out. After a short exchange, A.I. managed to clip the wings of the fat bird, and a faint "Good game, scrub" could be heard from the Porygon2. "I hope this isn't all you got, Ciel. It's 5-4 and you're sweating." "Oh no, deary! The game has just begun~! Now, behold the true power of the flying type!" "Yeah, yeah. Shut up and send out yo- OMFG A SALAMENCE!" I was startled at first, but remembering why I loved A.I. in the first place, I smiled. "Bad move, Ciel." "We'll see~!" Next thing I knew, A.I. was on the floor, out cold. I guess you could say Salemence's power level was... OUTRAGEOUS! Once the shock left, I contemplated my next move. And like that, I knew the right poke for the job. As I sent out Jazz, I smiled even wider...... And it was wiped clean off my face again as Jazz was quickly knocked out. The momentum of the match quickly shifted in Ciel's favor. I was shaking, unsure of what to do. So with a shaky hand, I sent out Gastroll. "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! You're really backing me into a corner here..." "Sorry~! But did you think you were getting off that easy?" I didn't answer, truth be told, I was lost for words. I didn't know what would happen. The score was 3-4, and her Salamence just calmed down from its rampage. Luckily, it didn't carry Lum. Having wasted enough time thinking, I instructed Gastroll to give a piercing Icy Wind. To my surprise, Ciel withdrew Salamence and sent out her Gliscor, which easily died in one hit to Gastrolls attack. This left me at ease, tying up the score. My happiness was short lived, and was replaced with rage as she sent out Yanmega. I decided it was useless switching, and stayed in making Gastroll spam Icy Wind. Of course, Yanmega protected the first turn, and the very next got a painful Air Slash flinch. Gastroll wasn't looking so good, so I decided it was time for a fresh start. Sending out Chunkybum to counter her Speed Boost. He easily disposed of it with an Extremespeed. "It's time to wrap this up, Ciel!" She didn't reply, and instead, sent out her final Pokemon, Salamence. This is when I realized a very stupid move I made. I had forgotten that rocks were up, and Gastroll would faint upon a switch in. In short, I basically had one pokemon after Chunkybum to win this with, and I wasn't sure what this Salamence was running. I was fearing the worst, and honestly, I believed I lost. But, as if reading my thoughts, Chunkybum gave me a look filled with passion and determination. I nodded as Chunkybum went for his last attack, severely wounding Salamence. Then.... the Outrage came and quickly drained Chunkybum's remaining hp. "You did amazing, Chunkybum. This should be enough. Alright, Ciel! I still have one last pokemon, I hope you don't get too heartbroken by this loss." "Ahaha~! I see you're not completely drained of willpower! How exciting~!" It was the finale, I had one shot at this. Gastroll was pretty much useless, knowing this, I sent out my final hope. "Finish it, Septus!" It was glorious, Septus and Salamence and a standoff to end all standoffs. Both wanting to beat the other for their trainers. Salamence launched a mighty Outrage as Septus quickly dodged, not wanting it to end so fast. The two pokemon continued to clash, until Septus managed to land a Rock Slide. Salamence staggered back, clearly hurt bad. As time passed by, the great dragon fell to the ground, completely drained of energy. Realizing what happened, I quickly hugged Septus. "I knew you could do it buddy!" Turning my attention to Ciel, I approached her. "What a great battle, I can't stop shaking. I never expected this much of a challenge from you, honestly." "Ah, I had a lot of fun too~! In the end, the match was graceful, like me~! Enough talk, here, take the Suspension Badge." Right after that, the gym floor went back down so fast, that I was thrown off balance and faceplanted. I can't say I approve of battling so high in the air, but it does change things up a bit. As I left the gym I noticed something odd. There were about 50 cut outs of famous celebrities where spectators would sit.

Joker
Grounded I walked in Terra's gym confidently. Unfortunately, I was quickly stomped on. Lost in about 10 turns. All thanks to RawrChomp. Sorry if you expected more, but the battle was literally just a +6 Evasion and Attack Garchomp sweep, and I can't really make that epic. Hopefully a more drawn out loss will come in the future. Till next time.

Joker
Something to Treasure! Having my ass handed to me by Terra showed me I how wrong being cocky is. NAH, I'M JUST PLAYIN'! After the crushing loss I set my sights on Saphira, hoping to regain my honor. As I entered her gym, I could sense how strong she was right away. To be honest, I was scared. Never one to waste time, I boldly announced my presence. "I'm here to get your badge, Saphira! But don't let that discourage you from trying to fight back, even if it's useless." She then started talking about rules and such. Honestly, I think she's confused. This isn't a nuzlocke girl, no need to treat it like one. After a short staring contest, we eventually began our battle. It was looking in my favor, a triples battle, and the perfect leads for me. Saphira; Leading with Hydreigon, Salamence, and Dragonite.... As for me, I decided that a new formation was needed. So I lead with Chunkybum, Gastroll, and Tsuna. After all pokemon were on the field, I striked first. You know what they say; "He who strikes first wins." However, her Salamence's ability was Intimidate, and we can't have a weak attacking Dragonite now can we? So I switched him out for Jazz, while Gastroll lashed out with an Icy Wind, and Tsuna with a Rock Slide. Saphira decided she wanted to use that weenie move Protect, and as it happens, both her Hydreigon and Salamence used it. Gastroll hates weak sauce crap, so he critted her Dragonite quickly taking care of the fat bottomed dragon. "Well, I guess that works. Looks like the odds are already in my favor, my fellow Dragon Tamer." "You as much as anyone should know the raw power of dragons." Whether I wanted to or not, I had to agree. Dragons are not to be taken lightly. I simply kept her words in the back of my head as I planned my next move. Thinking briefly, I decided, and soon after, her next pokemon came out. Haxorus, one of the mightiest dragons in terms of raw attack power. I couldn't allow it to get many blows in or I would be finished. Soon after, we were at it again. "Another Icy Wind, Gastroll! Jazz try to paralyze her Hydreigon! Tsuna, follow up with Rock Sl-" Before I could issue out the command, Tsuna was taken out by an Earthquake from Haxorus. "I see....That can only mean one thing, it's gotta be scarfed!" Taken aback, I quickly sent out Chunkybum. Smirking, I knew I had the match won at that moment. Gastroll's Icy Wind finished off her Salamence before it could even get it's first attack in. You see, this is why you don't use Protect in front of Gastroll. Dude just hates the move, never understood, really. I just know it sets him off in a pit of rage faster than a Tauros seeing red. Anyway, since her Haxorus used Earthquake, it couldn't touch Gastroll, and the Icy Wind soon hit the skinny dragon. You could tell ol' Haxy didn't like that, as he was shivering up a storm. Without haste, her replacement for Salamence came. Would you believe it was a Garchomp. The moment I saw it, something went off. "OOOOOH! You used that thing too!? I hope you don't mind it fainting in the next turn!" "...Don't be so sure about that." "Hmph. Whatever, make your move, Tamer!" After the exchange, we both made our moves. Jazz went for a safe Slack Off, while Gastroll kept up the the Icy Winds, with Chunkybum backing them up with Extremespeed. I could tell I had her backed into a corner, it showed by her expression alone. Knowing she couldn't touch Chunkybum or Gastroll with Haxorus, she switched him out for Kingdra, who took the oncoming Extremespeed and Icy Wind combo. Shortly after that, two huge thuds were heard. Hydreigon and Garchomp had both fell to the ground, unconscious. "I believe this is game." "Nothing is for certain... Is what I would say, but it's clear you have won. However, I still have to try!" I admired her determination, but I didn't hold back. Sending out her last resort, the skinny dragon made one last appearance. Severely weakened from the attacks it suffered from earlier, it stood there panting. "Alright! Gastroll, Icy Wind one last time! Chunkybum, Extremespeed on Haxorus!" Without hesitation the pokemon made their moves, and the two remaining dragons fell to the ground, out of energy. Despite winning 5-0, it was still a great battle to experience, and I will never forget it. Before heading out, I said one last thing to Saphira. "I know this won't be our last encounter. There is X-League, after all. Just promise me one thing." "What would that be?" "Promise me that you'll use the strongest of the legendary dragons when we meet up next time." Saphira nodded, and I left looking forward to the next time we battle. Just as I left, a booming roar could be heard coming from Saphira's gym. Side note: This battle was a rematch, I lost the first one 4-0. But it being a rematch, I wasn't sure how to work in my loss while maintaining a story interesting to read. So, I decided on nights that I use a token, I'll just post the loss after the chapter. But if I lose the retry, I'll just make it into a chapter. Being the loss has enough content to make into one, that is. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Till next time!

Joker
Prologue to X-League! I have fought many battles in my time on this journey, most of which were extremely difficult. I often reflect on those battles as they te- BWAHAHAHA!! I'm just kidding, I can't even remember the name of the last leader I beat. Amanda? Athena? Damn, what was it again? ...It'll come back to me. It's been 3 years since I beat the champion of Reborn, and I decided to take a little vacation from my challenge, catch some new pokemon, train a little, you know, the usual stuff badasses do, and then it dawned on me. I needed a legendary pokemon, and not just any legendary pokemon, one who is Uber strong! So during the past few years, I trained, and I searched for said pokemon. The legendary Mewtwo! Sure, I was laughed at, I mean, catching a pokemon as powerful as that? Seems like a big fucking joke to most people. But those people lack the skills to obtain true power. I eventually found my target, he was resting in a dark cave in Kanto, near Cerulean City. I won't lie, it was a tough battle, it took weeks for Tsuna to recover from his wounds, and Septus nearly died, but I caught my powerhouse. However, something was different about him... He spoke to me, and I'm not trying to troll you, he really fucking talked. "...Ah, I have been waiting for such a strong trainer. Now that you have my power, would you do me the honor of naming me?" I wasn't against the idea, so I thought for a bit, and came up with a name for this beast. "I think I'll call you.... Mystogan!" He seemed to like the name, as he nodded in approval. Without haste, he went into his pokeball, and I left the cave with seven pokemon in total. I decided I'd visit my hometown in Johto for old times sake, and as such, departed towards Blackthorn City. Upon arriving at my house, I thought it would be best to rearrange my team a bit. Thinking about Septus' near death experience, I didn't want to risk him dying in X-League, so I painfully put him on the bench, forever. But, not wanting to leave Septus without a few of his best buds, I switched my team up further, and the following changes were made; Excalibur over Septus, Laxus over Gastroll, and Crimson over Jazz. Laxus being the cousin of Umby, is a very spunky little guy, and if not, more deadly than his cousin. Crimson was a Scizor I befriended whilst travelling across Johto, I recall our encounter being near Olivine City, and I'll never forget it, but that's for another time. Finally, Excalibur was my starter during my Unova travels, dude was an absolute beast, and still is! Anyway, after I got geared up, I exchanged a few words with my mother and headed out towards the great land of Reborn. The challenge will be tougher than ever, but I won't back down, not now, not ever. Yeah, I know, I didn't write chapters for my last two battles.... I apologize for that. But I won't lie, I did kinda forget about this thing, and I just now remembered it. If I could recall those matches, I'd write them out. I will say that Amaria beat me a good 2 times before I finally managed a win, and even that battle was amazing, no doubt. I did do a previous X-League challenge where my legend was Darkrai, but I wanted to do something like I did here with him and, well... Forgot. So, I'm pretending like that challenge didn't happen.<< Also, Noel kicked my ass a lot and made me restart. Aaaaaaaanyway, I will try and update this as much as I can, but if you like it, don't be afraid to give me a little nudge on updates. First X-League chapter should be up later tonight or tomorrow, depending on whether or not I can come up with good writing material for it. That being said, stay tuned~! Joker
Blossom! After finally arriving in Reborn once more, I went to register my team for X-League. The clerk there was kind of a smart ass, but I held my tongue. Having registered I headed over to Aya's gym, but apparently, she was PMS'ing, so I settled for Laura instead. She's nice and quiet, should be a good peaceful battle. However, I just couldn't waltz in there with seven Pokemon now could I? Someone had to be benched for this battle... After some consideration, I decided that A.I. would get a little break, I wanted to go hyper offense anyway. The little cyber duck nodded, and I set him to the pc. With all the boring shit out of the way, I headed towards Laura's gym. It was a beautiful place, really. Flowers everywhere, nice ones too. I gotta hand it to the girl, she knows how to decorate. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to talk. I thought it was me at first, but I guess she's really just that shy. I wanted a peaceful battle, but damn, this is a little much... "Sup, Laura? I hope you're ready, I know I am." She didn't even reply, I would feel insulted, but I really just want to get my badge and go. Without hesitation, she sent out her first Pokemon, Ferrothorn. Seeing this, I sent out Crimson. No more than 30 seconds passed, and Crimson unleashed his.... SUPERPOWER, and down went the Iron Barbed Pokemon in one swift hit. "...I see that choice band I gave you was more useful than I thought it'd be." Right after that, she sent out her next Pokemon, Breloom. I love the little sleep inducing kangaroo so much, that I even prepared for it! Knowing what was coming, I sent out Tsuna, who took the spore, and woke up immediately thanks to the Lum Berry I gave him. Laura didn't even seemed phased, it's almost like she's an android or something. "Alright, Fake Out, and then Heat Wave." Tsuna screeched, and followed the commands flawlessly. It only took two turns for Breloom to faint, and I was shocked that things were going so well. But the battle wasn't over yet, and as such, her next Pokemon entered the field, Serperior. Not surprising, those things are awesome. Having pretty great pride in Tsuna, I left him in to deal with it. He fired off a Heat Wave, missed, and her Serperior managed to get off a Toxic. I was legitimately surprised seeing Toxic on a Serperior... Tsuna being the badass he is, refused to be recalled and fought back until it the Toxic nearly killed him, sadly, I couldn't leave him in, and recalled him. He gave him the stank face, but he'll get over it. It was obvious I needed someone faster than her Serperior, and I knew just the guy for the job, and so, Laxus entered the field. But things didn't go as planned, he managed to get off one HP Ice before the mighty Grass Snake KO'd him with a Leaf Storm, powering it up even further. I decided that the only way to beat a Serperior, is with a Serperior, and so, I sent out Excalibur.... Damn, how wrong I was. Poor guy went down to one HP Fire. Slightly enraged, I sent out Crimson to counter attack. "You know what to do, Crimson." Boy did he know what to do. With one swift Bullet Punch to the dome, Laura's Serperior fainted, hell it may of even suffered brain damage. But the battle sure wasn't over yet, I haven't even seen any legendary pokemon, which is what this challenge is all about, really. Time went by, and it seemed like Laura made her next choice in Pokemon. But before she sent it out, she talked, yeah, talked! I couldn't believe it either. "Seems as if the bud will bloom after all......" "...Uh, what?" She quickly went back to being her silent self, and I disregarded the whole thing. Soon after, she sent out her fourth Pokemon, Whimsicott. I figured Crimson could handle this little bugger, so I left him in. I'll admit, the thing was bulky, it managed to survive one hit from Crimson's Bullet Punch, unfortunately, it couldn't take the second... and you might say the second hit was... critical. I even made that pun during the battle, and my jaw still hurts from where Crimson backhanded me. Laura seemed a little pissed, not sure if it was my pun or what, nah, couldn't be my pun, it was perfect. She was pissed at something, and it showed as she sent out her fifth party member, Virizion. "Finally! I was starting to wonder if you even had any legendary pokemon!" I knew that Crimson's Bullet Punch wouldn't be of much use here, and I didn't want to lose him yet, so after some thought, I reached a painful decision... Operation: Sacrifice Tsuna. And so, I recalled Crimson, and sent out Tsuna. He barely even managed to get me a dirty look before that Stone Edge hit him, I'll be paying for that later, but I had more pressing issues at hand. I figured it was about time I wrapped this battle up, and I sent out my secret weapon. He must of read my mind, because his pokeball was shaking will anticipation. Immediately after, Mystogan made his first battle appearance. "I'm so glad to be able to partake in this battle, master." "Bro, I ain't your master, we're all friends here. Here, just call me 'bro'." "Very well... bro." Mystogan wasn't one to fuck around, and it showed... Laura's Virizion started to panic, and soon after, the Psystrike hit it like a train, and down it went. I suppose I could say I had this match won, what with a cozy 3-1 lead, but I knew Laura had something up her sleeve... she has sleeves right? ...Whatever. Anyway, I was right, she sent out her sixth Pokemon, Shaymin-S, or as I like to call it, Skymin. Skymin was sitting pretty confident, like the flinch haxing bastard it is. I looked to Mystogan, and he smirked. "Do not fear ma- bro, I have this under control." As if the presence of Skymin wasn't bad enough, Laura decided to scarf the evil thing, making it even more troublesome. Skymin fired off an Air Slash, arguably the most evil of moves, but to my surprise, Mystogan didn't flinch, and fired off a hard hitting Psystrike. Both pokemon were taken aback by the others horrifying strength, but I knew that if I left Mystogan in, he would lose because of the scarf. So, upon thinking about it for a good while, I knew what I had to do. "Sorry, Mystogan... You'll have to retreat." "Very well, you know what's best." If only he knew... Anyway, since we reached an agreement, I withdrew him, and sent out Chunkybum on the incoming Air Slash, and since he was healthy, he took it like a champ. Chunkybum and I exchanged looks, and I gave him the honor of the final blow. "Extremespeed." Without haste, Chunkybum flew at a speed that would put Laxus to shame, and with a short blow to the head, Skymin collapsed, unable to move. Victory was ours, and I withdrew Chunkybum, praising him for an outstanding finish. With the battle over, I walked towards Laura to claim my first X-League badge. She handed it to me without even uttering a word. I wasn't one to harass a lady, so I respected her wishes of not wanting to talk... ever...I just don't... Anyway, I left her gym, head held high, and settled down at the nearest Pokemon center, healing the wounds of my fellow friends. As I went to bed that night, I had my sights set on Aya, and with any luck, she will actually be in the mood to battle this time. As promised, here is the first chapter of my X-League challenge(sorta), details aside, I hope you all enjoyed it, and thanks for reading. Leave feedback if you want. Until next time~! Joker
Toxic Troubles! Morning arrived, and I headed off towards Aya's gym once more, with hopes of another gym battle, and of course, another win. Luckily for me, she wasn't in a bad mood today, or at least, not yet. I entered the gym and noticed a PC right near the entrance, kinda handy as I forgot to switch anything around. So, with my memory jogged, I swapped out Excalibur for A.I. My team was completed, all I needed now was an order, and what gear would be best, as I reached my conclusion, Aya greeted me "...Really?! This fucking early? You're gonna challenge THIS early?!" "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, don't worry, I won't waste much of your time." "Whatever, let's get it over with." I could tell she was in the best of moods today, but she must of really wanted to go back to whatever she was doing, because she already sent out her Pokemon. To my su- Oh, it was just a Triples battle as usual, lame. It was her usual start up in Regular league if I recall correctly... Vileplume, Amoongus, and Crobat. Again, not really all that surprising, so seeing her leads, I decided not to waste her time as well, and as such, sent out my Pokemon; Chunkybum, Tsuna, and Laxus. Fortunately, this countered her lead rather effectively, even better, I didn't really intend to do that. She shot me one hell of a nasty look, but I assumed it was the smell of her own pokemon that caused it. Seriously, they may be toxic, but they don't have to smell it. Anyway, I started off the battle with Chunkybum's Extremespeed targeting Vileplume, Tsuna's Fake Out targeting Crobat, and Laxus's Thunderbolt targeting Crobat too. Shortly after, she followed up with her Vileplume sending Chunkybum to snoozeville, Amoongus using Rage Powder to defend Crobat, and Crobat setting up Sunny Day because of Inner Focus, yeah, I forgot about that.... Sue me. "Well, you got up your sun, I just hope you don't feel all that bright with your fancy techniques." "......Wither up and die." For that comment, I was hurt, I almost wanted to cry, but instead of doing that, I planned to wipe some of her Pokemon out. With the sun up, I figured it was a good thing Tsuna was in the middle. So, having that in mind, I commanded him to dish out a Heat Wave. However, thanks to Sunny Day, her Chlorophyll abusing Pokemon are now faster, letting her Vileplume get a Sludge Bomb in on Tsuna. Luckily, he didn't seem all that hurt. Crobat decided to be a little scout, and U-Turn'd his ass right out into her next Pokemon, Nidoking. Unfortunately for Aya, ground doesn't resist Fire, and with Sunny Day support, the Heat Wave KO'd all three of the Pokemon on her side of the field. I almost felt bad for her Nidoking, poor bastard didn't even get a single move in. Regardless, Aya looked a little steamed... Yeah, I bet you're loving all these puns, just wait till the fire leader! "AHAHAHA! God, lucky me~!" "Whatever." It was approaching the final round, and as most final rounds go in Triple battles, they need the final three Pokemon. I already knew one was Crobat, since the little bastard got away. Annoyingly enough, the other two were also Chlorophyll abusers: Victrebell and Venusaur. With her final pokemon out, we wrapped the battle up quickly. Chunkybum still being asleep, seriously, dude. I know it's tough hauling that big ass of his, but come on, this is a gym battle, not nap time! Aya seemed to have had enough with my ownage, and finally took her first blood. With a mighty Solarbeam, the Venusaur set his beady little eyes on Laxus, and down the spikey fox went. Immediately after, Crobat and Victrebell double teamed Tsuna with Sludge Bombs, knocking him out. Chunkybum still managed to sleep through all this... "At least you're putting up some sort of fight, I was getting bored." "Shut up." Aya always had a way with words, but that's beside the point. Wanting to leave this putrid gym, I sent out my next two Pokemon, Crimson, and Mystogan. "Shall I get started, master?" "I told you about calling me that... But yeah, go for it." Mystogan managed to outspeed Aya's Crobat, and hit it with a Psystrike, do I even need to say it fainted? Crimson got a Bullet Punch off on Victrebell, while Victrebell fired off a Weather Ball at him in return. Needless to say, Crimson was utterly destroyed. It was almost like a Fly being hit with a Flyswatter. Venusaur wanting in on the action too, fired off a Sludge Bomb in Mystogan's direction, but he wasn't phased at all. Having a nice solid 3-2 lead, I knew I had this won, and Chunkybum hasn't even been touched the entire time. That being at the back of my mind, I sent out my final Pokemon, A.I. "Time for the final round, Aya." " Yeah, whatever. I just want you out of my gym." Chunkybum heard her plea, and woke up right after, taking out her Victrebell with an Extremespeed. I guess I can't stay too angry at him, he came through at the end. With my small moment of pride over with, I gave Mystogan his last command of the battle. "Alright, bro. Psys-" Suddenly, I was hit in the face by a small metal object, taking a look at it, it was the Blight X-League Badge. Apparently, my moment of pride was taking too long, and Mystogan decided to finish things on his own. Noticing the unconscious Venusaur, I merely shrugged. With my business with Aya done, I went to wish her a good game, and did so. In return, she told me to "Fuck off." Kinda a short chapter this time around, but it was a triples battle, and those are usually quick affairs. As always, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and leave some feedback if you want. Until next time~!
