Isobel has Dackly perform what may or may not qualify as cannibalism, giving her a healing poppy for [20] HP.

 

Lancer recovers from her stun. 

 

Bridgett begins charging her attack!

 

Lancer leaps through the air, aiming a crushing attack at Isobel for [17] damage and [17 vs 13 - Fail] stunning her. 

 

Hikari casts a strengthening spell on Bridgett and Katsuo, increasing their offensive stats by 10 each. 

 

The first officer fires a spike of ice in Bridgett's direction, dealing no damage as the magic shattered against her barrier; however, the chill still affected her flight. 

 

Dackly blasts Lancer with her gaze, filling her with 23 Hate Stacks! Gozer stands about her protectively, anticipating attacks with Royal Guard.

 

The first group of soldiers charges forth, all four of the remaining men attacking Samantha. Much to their chagrin, they may as well have been trying to stab a mountain to death, for all the effect their attacks had.

 

Katsuo attacks one of the second group of soldiers, bashing at the man for [30] damage until the unfortunate soul collapses on the ground unmoving. 

 

Lancer charges at Friedhold with her lance. Her arm spasms at the last moment, but the lance still impacts him for [8] damage. She keeps traveling, lance glancing off of Bridgett's barrier.

 

Officer B targets Isobel with an ice spike, dealing [11] damage and reducing her initiative by 2. 

 

Samantha punches Lancer right in her goddamn face for [91] goddamn damage, leaving a sizable impression both there and on the landscape. 

 

The second group of soldiers attempts to reform their ranks.

 

Ritsu attacks the first officer for [21] damage, and tears up his armor a bit. 

 

Marisa summons another balor and orders this one to attack the same officer as Ritsu for [14] damage. The first one attacks Lancer once more for [13] damage. 

 

Friedhold disrupts the battlefield once again, stunning Lancer and causing the two groups of soldiers to stumble about. 

 

Morgan releases a wave of healing energy, fully restoring Isobel, Hikari, and Ritsu.

Dackly throws Lancer a loving look, using Soften to convert her Hatred Stacks into Soften Stacks!

(Gaze) Level 1 Soften: The user converts Hatred Stacks into Soften Stacks, if the target has no Hatred Stacks, it instead removes a single Status Effect, Enemies with Soften Stacks gain a percentage Damage Debuff based on it's ratio to their Current Health. (I.E, an enemy with 100 Health remaining and 50 stacks of Soften would have a 50% damage reduction, while one with 100 Health and 1 Soften Stack would only have a 1% damage reduction) Enemies who reach zero health or 100% Damage Reduction while afflicted with Soften Stacks are rendered Helpless.

 

Level 4: (Blue Art) Royal Guard: Gozer adds his RES to a target's RES for one turn.  This Target can be himself, effectively doubling RES.

"Charge Complete My Lady." Mornings Arrow chimes.  Nodding her head Bridgett braces herself "Mythral Buster launch!!!" she calls out as she fire a blast of energy at Lancer.

 

Bridgett uses Mythral Buster:  Mythral Buster: A high powered single target spell. it deals 6d6 + SYN damage. Requires 1 turn of charge. May use 4 cartridges to ignore enemy RES. 3 turn CD

Samantha, seeing things are suddenly going her way, turns up the heat.  Her Phoenix Corona blazes around her, sending ripples of pure force through the air and converting the ground beneath her to glass as she raises both hands and assumes the classic 'Kamehameha' pose.  Thus prepared, she sends another beam of fiery death toward Lancer.  While shouting "Ka.  Me.  Ha.  Me.  HAAAAAA!", of course.  Assuming no debuffs or other shenanigans, it should do 21d6+21 damage to the Servant.

LOTUS uses Weakness Pinpoint on Lancer, granting 10% *2-crit chance on attacks made against her this turn!

 

Also, Isobel and LOTUS have a passive 10% dodge chance, and if stunned physically or chemically LOTUS' moves can still be used.

Isobel was supposed to be stunned this round, but luckily her perk lets her move anyway! Lotus pinpoints two large weakpoints on Lancer.

 

Lancer recovers from her stun. 

 

Bridgett politely attempts to befriend Lancer with a blast of technicolor magical force, dealing [33] damage. 

 

Lancer seems to be impeded a bit by the electricity still coursing through her, but she still charges at Friedhold, dealing [9] damage. She continues moving, trampling over Marisa for [8] damage. 

 

Hikari casts a curative spell over Morgan, healing him for [20].

 

The first officer hits Isobel with another blast of ice, dealing [10] damage and slowing her further.

 

Dackly Softens Lancer again while Gozer continues to guard her, converting her Hate Stacks into Soften stacks.

 

The first group of soldiers reforms their ranks.

 

Katsuo angrily smashes at Lancer for [20] damage. 

 

Lancer tilts her lance skyward. A crack sounds, and it is immersed in swirling, intensely bright energy, and she calmly lowers it, setting it back into place once more.

 

Officer B hits Bridgett with another ice spike. It pings off of her barrier again, but continues to interfere with her flight.

 

Samantha exposes herself as a massive nerd, firing an energy blast at Lancer for [84] damage. 

 

The second group of soldiers makes another somewhat futile attempt to hurt Samantha. 

 

Ritsu attacks Lancer for [24] damage and inflicts a further [24] bleeding damage for 3 turns. 

 

Marisa hits Lancer with a bolt of purplish magic for [9] damage. The first Balor swings its blade at her for [6] more damage. The second strikes Officer A for [9] damage. 

 

Friedhold uses some of his seemingly inexhaustible supply of ADAM and EVE to stun Lancer, Officer A, and the second group of soldiers. He also deals [0] damage to Lancer and the officers, and [3] damage total to the group of soldiers. 

 

Morgan decides that Samantha needs EVEN MORE ENERGY, buffing her SYN by 14 for 2 turns.

"Shield down My Lady." Mornings Arrow chimed as Bridgett's ward dissipated "Okay lets see if we can bring this to a close fast shall we?" Bridgett said as she shivered a little from all the ice that the mages have been throwing at her. "Agreed My Lady activating Boost Mode." Mornings arrow chimed once more as two cartridges where loaded and there empty shells ejected as Bridgett Magic got a boost of power. "Now lets get serious. Load remaining cartridges." She said as the device complied loading the eight remaining cartridges in the current clip.  "Now" Bridgett raised Mornings Arrow in the air as five much larger then usual arrows of magic formed in the air "Launch Magic Arrows!" She called as she sent the arrows of magic all flying straight at Lancer. 

 

Bridgett uses Free action Boost mode and spends 2 cartridges to double her syn for three turns. Then uses Magic Arrows and spends her 8 remaining cartridges on it. 

 

-Boost Mode: Uses 2 cartridges to double Bridgett’s SYN for 3 turns as a free action. 3 turn CD

 

Magic Arrows: (Current shots: 5) A ranged attack that fires 2 shots which can be distributed at the user’s discretion. Each shots deals 1d4+SYN damage. 2 turn CD. Cartridges used on this action add SYN/2 to every shot used 8 cartridges

Gozer uses Gozer Dozer to ram into Lancer, dealing 1d6+7 Damage, and forcing a Str v Str check against interrupting charged actions!

 

"This is it, the final round! Feh Feh Feh!"  Dackly cackles from atop Gozer as they charge at lancer.  She draws her rapier, the first weapon she's drawn this fight, and flourishes it, it hums with an unholy purple light.

Samantha draws upon the power of the Phoenix to the greatest extent she can, an almost blinding orange light surrounding her in the shape of a massive raptor of flame.  She raises her hands above her head, and the fires of her corona begin to draw upwards like water down a drain, forming a massive sphere of raw energy and plasma.  Once she's gathered as much power as she can, smoke rising from her body as the cosmic fire burns at her, she brings the sphere forward to point at Lancer.  "Hey!  Chowderhead!  Eat this and die, ya wannabe Apocalypse flunky!"  Then she releases containment on the side furthest from her, and a beam of psychic fire, burning as brightly as the midday sun, scorches a line between her and the dark Servant.

Lancer's response to the challenge (and the energy buildup behind it) is wordless, simply her expression hardening into one of grim determination as she leveled her lance at the challenger. A swirling vortex of red, black, and violet energy sprang up around it as the lance itself seemingly began to rotate; the air around her became warped as the weapon bent and warped reality itself. Some words about "releasing seals" could barely be heard over wind of the weapon's windup; Rhongomyniad, one of the pillars that held heaven and earth apart, being drawn upon at. . . not full strength, but much more so than the simple piercing weapon it had been used at to this point.

 

The vortex narrowed itself into a cylinder and blasted forth to meet Samantha's assault. . . and the psychic fire tore through it as if it were a blast of particularly menacing confetti before utterly enveloping Lancer. The roaring and the light stunned what soldiers remained; when that faded into smoke, their weapons quickly met the ground, followed by their feet as they fled. The haze and darkness made it impossible to tell what was left behind in the crater where Lancer had been standing, but as a breeze swept across the plain, it revealed. . .

 

. . . a rather despondent-looking plush toy? It was clearly modeled after the Lancer who had been destroyed(?) by Samantha just now, and in fact seemed to be animated so. Those curious may have wanted to inquire with a particular gorgon about this. . .

Bridgett floated down to the creator where Lancer once stood and looked that now plushy. "Huh? That's interesting. It looks rather cute." she said to herself before turning to see what everyone was doing. Seeing the snake lady or whatever it was smiling and since she was the one that Bridgett could reliably account weird things to Bridgett timidly walks closer to her "Umm...do..you..know something about that?" She asked meekly.

"Lancer here has suffered from my Soften, an ability that can fill a target with the power of love, softening them up until..."

 

"Well, Soft things are rarely dangerous, even if they try to be, Feh Feh Feh!"  She cackles, hopping down from Gozer's back.

 

"Victims of her power are unable to defend themselves, rendering further combat unnecessary."

 

"How this is done can be suspect, as you see."  Gozer says.  Walking closer to the plush.

 

"Those who have the heart of a true hero are immune to my Petrifying Gaze, which is required to enact my Softening one.  If she had been Braver and more Stalwart, I would have been helpless in this combat."

 

"Or if she had a damn mirror."

"I see. I've seen spells turn things to stone back in my world but never making them soft seems useful." Bridgett said as she followed the snake lady and rock thing. "So is she still alive then?" She asked as they got closer to the plushy.
