Hal Henderics
(Crucial Info) Spoiler This is an "Illustrated Suggestion Game". What this means is that this will be a game in which players vote on the actions of a single character, or their limited number of companions that they may come across. I will be posting Images that go along with this, so being able to view images is recommended to experience the entirety of a post, as certain descriptive elements may be left entirely in the hands of the illustrated image, in the case of areas, objects and creatures. -- Options provided in a post are merely suggestions, players may choose to Write In a vote as well, and if it receives enough support, it will be used. -- There will frequently be large swaths of this game in which players are left to decide courses of action without being prompted by an immediate goal. Having plans in advance, or being willing to take initiative will aid this process along greatly. -- The most general guidelines for this game include: 1. No blatant Evil: The title of the game does not imply that Rampant Murder, Theft, and Jaywalking are appropriate courses of action, Especially unprompted. Players are perfectly allowed to make morally unjustified decisions where they become relevant, I will not, however, support lifting the game off the rails to indulge in asinine schemes that throw any morality or sensibility out the window only to replace them with horror and insanity. 2. Don't Stall Out: Previous incarnations of this game died due to stagnation and the players working themselves into situations or paradigms that discouraged others from participating. 3. Have Fun: If you aren't having fun, then there's a problem and I need to be immediately notified. -- Updates will be either Weekly, Twice Weekly, or as soon as a certain number of posts are made. This is the Darkness Redeemed Discord. Enter at your leisure. -- This is horseshit. You think to yourself as you stumble over to the nearest rock. All you did was [Kill one little person]/[Cause massive chaos over several city blocks]/[Attempt to steal the Crown Jewels]/[Something Else] and they treat you like this. It wouldn't have been so bad, but they discovered you were a [Fey]/[Synthetic Human]/[Demon]/[Something Else], which is more or less a death sentence. Enough Monologuing. They dumped you in Dragon's Scrap instead of killing you. They probably just wanted to make sure you couldn't just come back to haunt them. Cowards. Chevaleresse
All we did was steal the identity of some duke/other person of importance. ATHATH
Aw man, it's back. If you haven't already, you should check out Shadestyle's other games (note that that was not an exhaustive list). 2 hours ago, banelord said: All we did was steal the identity of some duke/other person of importance. While being predisposed to murder would be nice, it probably wouldn't be as useful as it normally would be due to the whole "redeeming ourselves" thing/goal. Endlessblaze
This identity is known simply as "King". Its both simple, and conveys the over inflated ego of the identity. While also being plain enough to not merit to much skeptsim. We should Rest until night
Strider
This identity is known as Jack B. Owens, fattest gunslinger in the west. We should rest until night. No need to tire ourselves by walking under the hot sun all day.
ATHATH
Seconding naming this identity "King". Maybe we should give him the self-proclaimed title/nickname "King of the Wastelands"? That would help us avoid confusion if we steal the identity of an actual/"proper" king later. Rest until night, but see if we can get out of the sun(light) first. Maybe we can use File on the rock to make a small shelter/cubbyhole out of/in it?

Hal Henderics
You decide to name this new identity "King", a worthy title. Resting until night, you use File to twist your resting rock into a Shelter, and toy with the idea of turning sand into glass. This substance isn't sand, but you are able to fuse the scale-like rocks together regardless, forming a glassy obsidian-like substance. You have gained Glassy Obsidian. Your Heart feels like it's stopped in your chest. It hasn't, but that's what it feels like. Something is right outside of your shelter, two... three... Three... and a half(?) sets of footsteps. You hear some sort of snuffling taking place, like something snorting at the ground, and then a few more hesitant steps closer. Maybe not even hesitant. Maybe meticulous. You don't have quite the skills needed to pick out intent from mere footsteps. It is a good thing you are rested. Hal Henderics
You seal yourself inside the rock, and wear at it's identity to take for your own using Anima wrapped around your hand to rub at the inside of the shelter. It's a weak disguise, and the creatures scrabble at your rocky shelter through the rest of the night. Eventually, morning arrives, and the creatures flee at the morning light.
