Which one is better, I wonder... I wonder!

Pick your preferance! Rejuvenation or Reborn! (Tell me why as well)

First of all let me just say that I LOVE both games. They are leaps and bounds ahead of other Pokemon fan-games out there in terms of content and execution. So much so that I have been neglecting GW2 in favor of doing multiple mono runs on both games these past few weeks LOL.

If I have to compare the 2 games, I would say that I prefer Reborn over Rejuvenation. One simple reason is because I played Reborn first and through Reborn I got to know Rejuvenation. So that's that. Also, story-wise I honestly love Reborn's story and characters more. Sure they are not perfect but I just prefer them over Rejuvenation. Sometimes I feel that too much is going on in Rejuvenation at the same time and too many new characters are introduced at the 11th hour without meaningful reason for their introduction. Also what's up with the constant stream of female companions??? Honestly it makes me feel like I am in a Taylor squad or playing a waifu-picking game which is not my cup of tea.

However, I do have to give it up to Rejuvenation for the beautiful maps, more polished sidequests and player-friendliness. Well, the first point is actually a neutral point since the desolate environment of Reborn works well as a frame for the story. However, aesthetically speaking, I do adore Rejuvenation's color palette and atmosphere (ie. Darclight Woods, Goldenleaf Town). The Help Center is also a brilliant idea and adds hours of playtime. I also feel that Rejuvenation is more player-friendly, for example the existence of trucks traveling between towns make breeding or move relearning much easier. Reborn sometimes feel punishing for the sake of punishing. For example after you move to Agate Circus, you lose access to the Dept Store and Daycare, effectively limiting your options. I get that it is more realistic (which in a twisted sense makes me appreciate the restriction) but as a player it really annoys me that the game basically took away my tools to prepare for difficult fights without much warning except for a short comment from Cain before we enter Agate. The first time it happened, yeah cool, you really feel that Reborn is a dangerous place and you must always prepare yourself at all times. But on subsequent playthroughs, you would already know what to prepare and buy before entering Agate and the restriction just becomes an annoying gimmick IMO.
