e17 sidequest (spoilers duh)

So I returned most of the pokemon in the dj arclight sidequest, but for some reason I don't seem to have the vanillite. I don't remember trading it off or releasing it or anything like that, but I think I'm stuck now?? I'm at the point where eustace asks for a level 160 electrode and I'm not sure whether I really need to give him an electrode or attempt to give him back his vanillite here. If I have to give him back is vanillite, he isn't taking the random one I captured. Am I stuck?

Indeed you have to give him his vanillite back, If you do not have the one with his ID anymore I can trade you one from one of my Backup files.

You don't need to give him the one with his ID, I gave him one I've got from a random machine and he took it

can i ask, where exactly did you find eustace, i looked everywhere in the city and spinel town but i cant seem to find him

if you did everything else, hes in the rooftop garden in onyx ward

If you're done with the rest of the sidequest then you'll find him on a rooftop in onyx ward.
