Noivy
So as of lately I've been listening to my vast hoard of a Music Playlist on Youtube, and I got the idea to make a Mono color Red team. The song? As with most of my teams, this isnt ment for competive play, but feel free to play around and make recommendations!@ Life OrbTrait: Speed BoostEVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpdAdamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)- Hi Jump Kick- Earthquake- Blaze Kick- ProtectIf I use Blaziken, it's usually my lead. I use it to carve a hole in whatever my opponet is doing, because ot can seriously lay the smackdown with very little effort. Simple build. Easy to use.@ EvioliteTrait: TraceEVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SDefBold Nature (+Def, -Atk)- Tri Attack- Icy Wind OR Ice Beam - Thunderbolt OR Electro Web- RecoverDucky! Bolt Beam Recover and STAB Tri-Attack make this ting a stalwart little tank. Hits a lot of things decently, takes hits well, and overal, a very reliable Pokemon. Electro Web or Icy Wind can stop sweepers in their tracks by decreasing their speed with a 100% chance to do so, basically always, and it can use either one! I personally use Icy Wind because it stops the typical Dragon Dance sets.@ LeftoversTrait: LevitateEVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SDefBold Nature (+Def, -Atk)- Recover- Psychic- Dragon Pulse- Calm MindLatias! Great fun with walling. Pretty much Porygon 2 except with a more oompf after a calm mind. Psychic and Dragon Pulse for STAB Options and Recover for healing.@ Choice ScarfTrait: MoxieEVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpdAdamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)- Crunch- Earthquake- Stone Edge- OutrageScarf Moxie. Use for revenge kills and Moxie sweep.(?) This has caught some people off guard so thats always a great thing. @ Charizardite X Trait: BlazeEVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpdJolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)- Dragon Claw - Dragon Dance - Fire Punch - CrunchMega Charizard X! One of my favorite pokemon! Great Attack, decent overal speed, and a great move selection! BUlky enough to dance,, and then lay the proper smackdown! It's the black dragon amid the Red, but the Pokedex in-game still considers this Mega as a "Red" Pokemon. Deal with it. c: @ Choice BandTrait: TechnicianEVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpdAdamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)- Bullet Punch- U-turn- Superpower- PursuitThis is the ONLY time you will see me use a Steel type that isnt named Aggron or Bastiodon. I put it on because this team needed a bit more offensive oompf and This is the only Red Pokemon I could find that could handle a lot of things well. Generic Scizor build.Rate, and Enjoy. FraRPetO
since Blaziken has speed boost, wouldn't it be better if it has adamant? that'd do more damage
Noivy
Derp Changing that now. I dunno what I was thinking

Shanco
Alright, here's what I got to say after doing a few test runs with your team. It's good, not mind-blowingly fantastic. Here's some things that worked well after some tweaks: Eventually, you're gonna run into crep. And he'll use that fucking Lopunny. And you'll Hi Jump Kick. And his Sash will kick in. And you will rage. There's a bunch of perks in a multi-strike attack that your team could stand to benefit from. Double Kick on Blaziken, despite how weak it is, worked best for me. I found Analytic on Porygon2 worked better for me; as it will give you a consistent boost to your moves as opposed to getting steered away by others' EVs who have them set up especially to force Downloaders to steer clear of the Special Attack boost. That, and you're not running Trick Room on your team, so...why not?
Shanco
Isn't krookodile brown, though? You're either thinking of its pre-evos or its shiny form.
The Fush
Eventually, you're gonna run into crep. And he'll use that fucking Lopunny. And you'll Hi Jump Kick. Ignoring what you said about multi hit moves because that's actually advisable, but he said he didn't mean this team for competitive reasons. Why should he change his team for one specific person? That aside, drop Solarbeam if you're not using Solar Power. I can think of no moves (Kyurem Forms Aside) that are worth wasting two turns on, and Charizard needs to hit quickly if he doesn't wanna get KO'ed. Also, it's nice to see you using both Latias and Porygon2. They back up a few of the weaknesses of each other, and they use a similar strategy, to boot, so it's decent synergy. Summer
If planning for Charizard's Blaze, why not opt for the more reliable Flamethrower? From what I experienced, krookodile isn't fast, even with scarf. I would advise change of nature. Stone Edge > EQ for Blaziken. These are just my opinion. You don't have to change it. Shanco
Ignoring what you said about multi hit moves because that's actually advisable, but he said he didn't mean this team for competitive reasons.- Roo the Baka I missed that part. But I laddered with the team using that move and the move choice, as I found out, goes beyond one person. You have Cloyster, Aggron and some other guys who would otherwise survive Hi Jump Kick with either a Sash or Sturdy. That and Double Kick has 100 accuracy. It might be 105 base power weaker, but it makes up for that by being a great situational move. This team doesn't give or take status well, as I found out. I would recommend giving Charizard Will-O-Wisp. Either that or you could replace one of the Pokemon on the team with Rotom...actually, that's a great idea. Yeah, do that, because you could use Water/Electric anyway, as Grass would be covered by Blaziken. As for the status recovery, I dunno. You could try to find a Heal Bell user, but that means you're stuck with Flareon, and I think the only Red Pokemon with Aromatherapy is Vileplume. Shanco
Rotom looks pretty damn yellow to me. It does, but in the Pokedex, it says Rotom is red. Just like they say Bronzong is green...I guess it might have something to do with their shiny forms but I dunno for sure.
Hyrule'
At Charizard, you can try Flamethrower instead of Heat Wave (Flamethrower has more accuracy.) and Hidden Power [Grass] instead of SolarBeam (SolarBeam will take two turns for attack, while HP [Grass] take only one turn. Below is the moves comparison: SolarBeam = 120 Base Power x 1 (One Attack, Two Turns) = 120 Base Power Hidden Power [Grass] = 70 Base Power x 2 (Two Attacks, Two Turns) = 140 Base Power Results: Hidden Power [Grass] will take a greater damage than SolarBeam in two turn (Considering that SolarBeam have a free turn of carrying power [in other words, one Free turn for an attack of a opponent]) On Blaziken, Blaze Kick has a low accuracy, while Fire Punch is another great move without recoil damage, with a decent accuracy, you can try it instead of Blaze Kick. (I know that Blaze Kick has a higher Base Power, but a missed move makes really difference in a battle). I would put Stone Edge instead of Earthquake to attack Flyings types better. Noivy
Updated to Gen Six, and this team is still going strong! Changed Charizard to its Mega X forme and changed stats and moves, and altered the moves of Krookidile, Porygon 2, and Blaziken.
