Absol?

ok so i love love love absol. i thought it was only an event pokemon but when i was on route 3 when it appeared the moment it ran off a wild encounter started and a lvl 74 absol appeared. unfortunately aya killed it in one hit  was this a glitch or are absols actually able to be found on route 3? i been searching for over 30 minutes for another one but no luck

I read they were added to the wild in route 2, 3, and 4, so the encounter rate must be low.  The event absol is still on route 4 I believe.

Yay for Life Orb farming. Or is that only for ORAS?

It worked in ep 16 on the event Absol, so it should work the same now.  I would definitely bring a mon with Compact Eyes (or some other item chance boosting ability--if there are any others).
