Chomp(Sharpedo): Waterfall Surf Crunch Dive Terra(Flygon): Earthquake Rock Slide Dig Dragon Claw Athena(Gardevoir): Moonblast Calm Mind Psychic Trick Room Vulcan(Metagross): Iron Defense Meteor Mash Hammer Arm Zen Headbutt Zeus(Manectric): Thunder Wild Charge Rain Dance Flamethrower Blaze(Charizard): Flamethrower Fly Flare Blitz Slash My question is...should I replace Chomp with a Feraligator? In competitive scene, the two pokemons u named does the exact same job which is late game cleaning when the core defense is down in opposite team. Comparing Feraligatr to Sharpedo ( I am going to assume both will have the same movepool) Feraligatr Pros : Somewhat decent bulk , hits hard af with sheer force + lifeorb with no drawbacks not mega dependant. Feraligatr Cons : Slow to start fights , needs dragondance to reach its full potential. Surf is not going to hit anything. Sharpedo Pros : Speed boost is lovely, crunch stab is lovely , surf hits harder than feraligatr due to spatk. Sharpedo Cons : Paper in both mega and regular form, no stat boosting moves, speed boost is lost upon switching mega, cant set up back.
