Chevaleresse
Lyssa wasn't willing to simply let this sort of crime go without carrying out a punishment in full. Shouting at the top of her lungs once more, she started to give chase to the fleeing Grimm, heedless of the danger; she didn't once stop to consider the conditions of her teammates, herself, or anything other than turning that Grimm into a smear on the pavement. ElfCollaborator
A steady hand gently but firmly yanks Lyssa back towards the group. "Enough, Lyssa! The fight is over. We are beaten!" This should strike both Lyssa and Amber as a surprise; Embla isn't the type to raise her voice very much, if at all. But then, they did just both all but lose to the Grimm, and lost someone else while they were at it. Indeed, Embla, usually standing up straight and still, appears drained by the fight, barely holding Fensalir up, let alone upright, with her other hand holding Lyssa back. kj1225
Flanagan leans on his weapon as he takes a moment to rest. "She's right, we can't keep going like this as much as I hate to admit it. We need to fall back before we lose more people." The large man glares at the retreating forms of the Grimm. No one back home was going to believe this... Chevaleresse
The force on her brought Lyssa back to rationality, or at least close enough to realize that her current course would lead to a rather unproductive death. "But, we can't just, they, they fucking. . . !" The Faunus continued to sputter for a bit in mostly-incomprehensible rage, wrenching herself free of Embla's grasp. She still seemed on the edge of rushing after the beasts again, but seemed to at least for the moment be stuck in a loop of pacing back and forth, the occasional spark still jumping across Breaker Keuranos or over the length of a limb. Eventually, her sputtering devolved into her mouth simply working soundlessly as she tried to dispel enough of the mixture of battle rage and genuine anger to be useful going forward.. kj1225
Flanagan stands. He turns to the faunus with a frown on his face. "Yes, we all saw what they did. But in our state we aren't able to finish them without losing more people at least. We'll have to go back to the colony so we can recover, and then we'll convince the director to let us come back so we can kill that thing. Alright?" He knew that plan wouldn't work, but hopefully it'd be enough to get Lyssa to calm down some.
