unable to obtain at this point

im at the end of ep 17 and then I thought "is the super rod in this game", I search a little and find out, it is in here. So I find out that I have to do an event with a guy that has strayed from team meteor that is in a hotel in peridot ward. so I find the hotel, BUT GUESS WHAT. He's not there.

 

If anyone know how to spawn him please tell me (I want Phione to)

Did you talk with him in the meteor base? If you did, you will find him in the Beryl graveyard, and then you will find him in peridot, from there you will be able to go to the hidden cove to get the super rod.

 

If you did not talk to him in the meteor base, then you have missed out on it (at least for now).

To elaborate, he'll appear at the graveyard right after you return to the city with Fly, but after some event he'll disappear and the quest is locked.
