Reborn characters Hurt/Heal (post E17)

She's been kidnapped for what, 5 episodes at this point? Poor Aya.

And as much as he says he's worried, Cain doesn't SOUND that worried. I always thought that there might be an underlying reason why Cain didn't tell Aya anything. As Dragoknight said, he did hurt Aya when he left, but I kind of just assumed he did that intentionally. Just my opinion though, maybe I'm missing something. And his comic relief is much appreciated

I personally can't really fault Cain for not telling Aya about him leaving. I think in his mind it would end up hurting her more because she would try to stop him yet failing to do so, adding blame to how Aya feels about it (blaming herself, if she had been nicer she could maybe have stopped him and blah blah blah you get the point). Him acting like he's in the right can simply be that due to him being able to be himself he instantly finds it the right idea. He does, however, know how harsh the world can be when you're alone (remember Heather? No, not the Yanmega. the Girl. when Cain first meets her he wants to make sure she has somewhere to go. He knows how hard being alone is as well as how the freedom makes him feel.

 

Okay, what do I have with semi psycho analyzing characters lately? First Cal, then Victoria and now Cain? What's next, am I gonna Psycho analyze Shelly?
