SDesertKicks
Hi! i just started, but my team is going to be an interesting idea I thought of- A dual weather team! Mega Charizard Y -Flamethrower -Solar Beam -Air Slash -Roost Timid Nature, Shiny, @Charizardite-Y Ability: Drought Venasaur -Leech Seed -Sludge Bomb -Giga Drain -Synthesis Calm Nature, Shiny, @Leftovers Ability: Chlorophyll Those are the sun users Excadrill -Rapid Spin -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Iron Head Jolly Nature, Shiny, @Choice Band Ability: Sand Rush Tyranitar -Ice Punch -Stone Edge -Crunch -Earthquake Impish Nature, Not Shiny, @Assault Vest These are the sand Rotom-Wash -Hydro Pump -Charge Beam -Will-O-wisp -Volt Switch Bold Nature, Not Shiny, @Leftovers Ability: Levitate To bring in either weather And I'm thinking of an Altaria with cloud nine so weather's effects can be canceled if needed. Walpurgis
I would make that venusaur an offensive one. Sunny weather might boost the synthesis recovery, but it boosts fire type attacks too and venusaur defensive stats aren't as great as they used to be anymore and, even if it can work, running a defensive set to abuse a weather is counterproductive: you are stalling your own weather. -Leech Seed Growth -Sludge Bomb -Giga Drain -Synthesis Hidden Power [Fire] Calm Timid or Modest Nature, Shiny, @Life orb Ability: Chlorophyll As for your sixth team member, I think a defensive pivot that can eat an attack and volt switch to bring in safely your drought/sand stream mon *notices the rotom* oh, yeah, that I don't really know. Dragoknight
Dual weathers is always fun. Your team is pretty well balanced too. I'd replace Leech Seed on Venusaur with Growth ninja'd For a 6th member, I'd go with Clefable. It provides some needed bulk for your team, it can be a great set-up sweeper, and has great utility with Stealth Rock. So, something like this: Clefable@Leftovers Ability: Magic Guard Bold Nature Moonblast Softboiled Stealth Rock Calm Mind Edited February 10, 2018 by Dragoknight
Zarc
glad to see charmander , drillbur and rotom wash are doing well
SDesertKicks
@walpurgisThanks for your suggestions! Actually, I wasn't really thinking about what could happen if a fire type came out, but in that situation I might just go out to the sand team. It's definitely something to think about though, because my only heavy hitters are Excadrill and Charizard, and Venasaur could help a lot. @DragoknightClefable is actually an amazing suggestion! I forgot that magic guard was a thing, so I might implement that as I was a bit iffy on having Altaria. Also, softboiled is great! @Zarc Hahaha yeah, it's all thanks to you and the items/pokemon you gave me! I was thinking about using this team for a while, but didn't have a game until I found reborn, and then luckily I found you!
Zarc
But i don't gave you this charizardite , i don't remember ?
SDesertKicks
No, but I assume that when I get to the point in the game where Charizard is fully evolved, the mega stones will be around.
Kirrim
If this team will be used to beat the story, remember that potions will often be a better alternative to healing moves. So i'd switch those out for setup or attacking moves.
