There are many mons that need megas. Salamence is definitely not one of them

 

In addition to what Wolfox said I want to reiterate in my suggestion of copypasting the list from the most recent post and then adding your vote on top of that instead of typing it all again yourself. It's easier for you and all the stuff Wolfox told you to do would already be done except for the colors.

M-Steelix is a bad choice for a mega, not because it's useless. It isn't. M-Audino is by far the worst mega.

It's a bad choice because it's too similar to another mega that already exists, M-Aggron.

The main rule (if not the only one) when creating a mega is thinking how it's different to all other megas out there. 

Steelix failed to abide by that rule, and while it's not the only one to fail it, it's arguably the one hindered the most.

Yep, I personally checked every single mega. Latios learns it, latias doesn't. Thing is, both their megas are downgrades from the originals.

 

Latios will never utilize DD. The only way I've used Latios's high Atk stat was to staple EQ to deal with Heatrans, when playing Hyper Offense.

Honestly, I don't know any other way to use it physically.
