Sigh. Anyone else ever have that one game where you feel convinced you could have carried, but didn't?

I mean, I was just the support, but I've carried as support Ori before with my entire team trying to 1v5 the enemy team. And this time it was just tRynd trying to 1v5 the enemy team

IDK, I just keep losing, and I'm starting to feel like a detriment to my team. And I hate making other people lose (like that Quinn, she was great)

In other news, Quinn+Ori is a really good botlane. Especially if Ori can time her Ws with Quinn's Es. And their ults go really well together too *Looks at her siggy* Ryan, you are a genius

So pretty much every game that ends in a loss since there is no such thing as an uncarryable game.

Yes I have those, most of the time due to having an awful team comp or because of a large number of small fuckups and misfortunes like the enemy laner living with 5 HP when getting a kill right there would've been detrimental to both winning lane and opening up a big roaming opportunity while my enemy laner is down for a good while, which is crucial in the early game.

So turns out that if you lose your lane miserably, but shove it and roam bot every time Dragon spawns, you can still win

Whats that saying about a fat lady and singing? Coincidentaly, its incredibly important in every MOBA out there. And any competitive game. Just keeping high moral and attitude can win games, but yeah.

I actually already knew that, that's why I did it. This was just the first time it actually worked. Honestly, I was expecting to lose lane because I was against a LeBlanc, so I just nabbed Lux for her pushing power so I would be free to roam often

Oh dear lord, allow me to enlighten you.

Half the reason so many people lose lane to LeBlanc is they're too scared. If you won't punish me for w'ing right onto you after q'ing you - aka being predictable - you deserve to lose this lane. If she q's you, when you know shes in range to w and expect she will, throw your cc towards her and it will hit her in the middle of her dash, fucking her day up. Max defensive things. I've screwed over so many LeBlancs with Orianna and Lux by getting 3 points in Shield and when she dashes, either snaring her or aiming for her pod, as most LB's look for your animation and don't immediately look where its going. A risk sometimes worth taking.

Ori does well against LB? Noted, because I'm better at Ori than Lux

Anyways, this LB wasn't the type who just jumped on me constantly. She sat back and farmed for the most part. And I did punish her when she jumped on me by snaring her when I could. But eventually she would get me low enough for an all-in, and her all-ins do more damage than Lux's early (and I was just plain behind later) Tho, I did max my shield last, so maybe putting some points in that sooner would've helped...

Yeah, take W at level 2 vs leblanc (Max it last though) and rush Chalice. You can't stop her dash, even if you share her, but it'll stop her return which allows you to get whacks in. LeBlanc players usually telegraph when they're going to Attack you, so as soon as she sends her Sigil your way, drop the shield and let her know you're not havin that shit.

Post-6 you need to be patient. You need to be passive and do your best not to get baited by her "fake" advances and anticipate when she will legit allin. This will make or beak the lane, as once summoner spells are factored in, you will win if you hit the snare (assuming you're running Barrier like you should be).

Another tactic you can use is buy wards and shove the daylights out of the lane. Once you have the sides warded then just push her to her tower (LeBlanc is bad at farming under tower). If you get ganked that's a bonus because you'll almost always see them coming with the wards you placed, and you relieve some pressure elsewhere.

Oh, and LeBlanc isn't great in teamfights unless she gets a flank. Teamfights is where Lux destroys. So the old passively-farm-to-late strat can work as well.

B-barrier? Noted...

And I forget what I took at 2. I almost always take E at level 1 because of its use in scouting

And yeah, again, I picked Lux because I expected to lose lane. I figured I'd be more useful later and I wanted to be able to push hard and roam

It doesn't stop LeBlancs W? I assumed since things like Ahri charm can stop it and negate the damage, Lux snare could. Someone should test that. also psychological games are fun vs leblanc because bad leblanc players expect to always win lane cos 'LEBLANC MECHANICS X D' :^)

Like most dashes, only displacements and Veigar's Event Horizon can stop a Distortion. They will be snared afterward however.

There are also a set of dashes that render the champ completely immune to CC during the dash though.

  • Hecarim: Onslaught of Shadows
  • Jarvan IV: Cataclysm
  • Malphite: Unstoppable Force
  • Nocturne: Paranoia
  • Sion: Unstoppable Onslaught
  • Vi: Assault and Battery
  • Xin Zhao: Audacious Charge

I saw a video on reddit about how some of these can be interrupted by ahri's charm.
