Is the Absol event still active?

I finally got to route 4 on my new run and am trying to trigger the event as usual. But when I checked online about whether the Absol event was live all I got was that it can be found in the wild now.  Does anyone know if the event got removed in episode 17?

It didn't get removed. To trigger the Absol event, you have to finish the Devon Corp. Quest first, which is a little far into the game.

Yes. You can still find one in the wild on Route 4, it is rare though.

yeah I suppose but that's the absol that has been following me around it feels special lol.

Truth. It also holds a Life Orb and learns Megahorn so that adds to it's beauty.

I can hold a Life Orb, but so can all Absol.  The main thing is that it's easily resettable (for said Life Orb) and that it's Ame's mon.
