uberle
So that's how Ennd is being put into this? I like it. Seems like something he would do.
Lord Drakyle
Ohh so this is one of the Disciples, looks like she might get along with my character thought Latias...maybe not so much who knows?
Veras Lexritz
Wow. I really like the design and especially how u put that mini character development in her backstory and personality. Noice.
Autumn Zephyr
Simple and elegant- certainly a nice little sprite she's got there~! And yes, that is Latias' RSE sprite- she always was a little tricky to hunt down, ya know? The situation Demure's found herself in is certainly cause for feeling the need to validate herself, methinks, but overdoing it very rarely helps anyone. I suppose helping rebuild her confidence will be a subplot, eh?
uberle
Hello So you have now heard of my character Ennd, the leader of Contrapasso. You probably want to know more about him. But today is not the day. Instead let's look at his 2nd in command The Riza Hawkeye to his Roy Mustang Zirze Spoiler Name: Zirze Gender: Female Appearance: Normally in a loose grayish-lavender hoodie always with the hood up. She has long black hair that she lets cover one eye. She has highlights in her hair. She's average build, but completely flat and often mistaken for a guy at first glance. Useful for her in her line of work. Personality: She just kind of hates everyone. Those she doesn't show any form of annoyance to are few and far between. This general distrust of people keeps her on edge and aware of dangers, which is useful when you're the 2nd in command of a rebel group and being hunted by literally everyone. Though she can get unusually flustered if flirted with. She has a habit of referring to those she doesn't like or know very well as 'pigs' The lower ranking members of Cotrapasso she refers to as 'little piggies' Despite her apparent hostility, she's not one to get into a battle, she knows better, but will bring hell down upon her foes if she must. No nonsense and usually cold, she hides in the shadows and watches others to learn what she can and report back to Ennd. Team: Gardevoir Gothitelle Metagross Delphox Alakazam ??????? Story: Zirze was a former member of Team Astral, but decided she wanted out. It wasn't because they killed someone close to her. Not because she's a lesbian who was treated unfairly. Not because she mouthed off to so many people and she was punished. None of those things happened to her. Astral was evil and she knew that. Not everyone's back story is tragic. She didn't like what Astral was doing and wanted out, simple as that. So during a battle with Contrapasso she had her Delphox create a mirage of Zirze being killed and her body destroyed and sneaked away. At first Ennd had no idea what to do with her, and wasn't sure if she was a spy, so he consulted the Swords. One of them agreed to test Zirze and found her worthy, and even joined her team. Zirze with her knowledge of Team Astral was used to help fight against them. At one point Contrapasso was forced into hiding, and has been for some time, and Zirze had some new jobs. First she was to use her psychic pokemon to interrogate others to make sure there weren't any spies in their midst. She also had the job of scouting out other people who could be useful as an ally. Then the last, and most important, job. She had to pretend to be the leader of Constrapasso. Ennd was known to pretty much all members of the two teams. Zirze wasn't. She was just another causality and few even remembered her. So as far as most members of Contrapasso are concerned she's the boss. And that's all you need to know. Trivia: Zirze's highlights change color depending on her mood. Getting brighter the more intense the mood. They'll go in a spasm if she has multiple emotions at once, but she can force them into black if she focuses. Red (default): Annoyed/Mad Yellow: Excited/happy (rare) Blue: Upset/Sad Pink: Aroused White: Scared Orange: Nervous/Uncertain
St3ambot
Hiya, I have an Idea that seems pretty cool for a rival character. Name: Alex (Subject to change) Gender: Male Appearance: Brown Hair, Green Eyes, Mediterranean, Minimalistic fashion sense, usually wearing simple sweatpants and hoodies in grey or white. Medium Length hair, falls in his face. Medium Height, Freckles. 14 years old Bio: Very spacy and distant, at first he seems kind of clueless, but as the story progresses, he has situations where incredible intelligence is hinted at. He specialises in Psychic type pokemon, when you first meet him he has an Eevee, which he later evolves into an espeon. Will speak his mind without thinking, but none of what he says is overtly negative, or positive he is pretty neutral. Story: Spoiler At the start of the story he is introduced as an orphan meant to tag along with protagonist, a dumb little brother character, without much of an opinion kind of repeating and copying what the protagonist has to say. Looks up to the protagonist as an older sibling. As story progresses he starts to find fault with the world around him and begins to start to take his own opinion. Midway through the story his starter pokemon (Not Espeon but a starter that is weak to the protagonist's) is killed by an admin of whichever evil team the protagonist decides to partner with for something, This shakes him deeply and he begins to feel feelings of resentment of his world and situation. Next time you meet him he is at a graveyard mourning, crying for his lost starter pokemon. when he notices you he asks you why you were with the people that killed his starter. You explain to him that you had to, and you didn't know of the teams true intent, to kill off powerful pokemon and their trainers. Due to him still being mostly passive he trusts you, he isn't angry at you, just his situation. He then challenges you to a one on one pokemon battle, to try to cheer himself up, whichever pokemon you want versus his Espeon. You win (Obviously) and then inspired by your pokemon's love of you, he asks for an egg from your starter pokemon. He asks you to bring the egg to the pokemon professor's house. If you bring the egg, you receive a level 1 eevee, with cured pokerus. and he cheers up a little bit. If you don't bring the egg, he says it's ok, but you can tell he is still very sad. Next time you meet he seems off, he is more observant and critical, and together you hunt down the evil team admin who killed his starter Looking for answers. once you find him/her, You face them in a double battle, and if you didn't give him the egg, you notice that he still has the starter pokemon that you have. After the battle, the evil team admin seems very distant and lost, and when you bring him/her in for repercussion, he/she dies, from some kind of disease, before you got to question her. If this was a normal pokemon game this would be in between 6/7th gym, so well into the story. You meet up with him again right after the last gym/challenge and he informs you that he has a lead on something important for the plot could be (up the creator of the game), and you follow him. he leads you to a field where you find his dead starter pokemon and the dead evil team admin, perfectly alive. He then explains to you that he infected the evil team member with pokerus, and then using a not yet explained power moved the admin there. You then get another look at the admin and the pokemon, and realise there is something connecting the two, and Alex explains that the pokerus also has a Negative effect. It can drain your life force. He is using the evil team members life force to revive his starter pokemon from the dead. You think this is horrifying and challenge him to a battle. You win, and ask him to tell you his lead, and he gives you it and explains that he tortured it out of the admin. From there If you gave him the egg, you leave him, without doing anything to stop him from reviving his lost pokemon. If you didn't give him the egg, you grab the admin and get out of there as fast as you can. Since you basically just killed his starter he begins to feel resentment to not just his fate, but you as well. Whichever option you chose, you still follow the lead and take down the evil teams, one of the leaders committing suicide when losing to you, and beat the elite four. If you chose to give him the egg, he appears right before the champion room, and explains his entire backstory to you (Keep Reading). He explains that he stopped trying to revive his pokemon at the cost of another's life and explains that he cured the Admin as well, and the admin is safe, in prison. He then challenges you to one last battle with his new pokemon, and once beaten, he accepts his fate and leaves to go back to govern his Altar (Good Ending). However If you didn't give him the egg, you find him waiting for you in the champion's room hatred and anger all inside him. He then explains that he tracked down and killed the admin, and how the admin deserved to die for killing someone else's pokemon. He then explains to you his backstory. He begins by explaining fully the pokerus, he explains that to make something better you have to make something worse. He explains that to make the former (i forgot the term, 'deity' maybe?) deity of deoxys more powerful (the former Leader of one of the evil teams), he and his entire village were used like the admin to give power to Deoxys' deity. He explains how his parents were killed, drained by deoxys, and how only him and his Eevee survived the process. He explains why the people were killed and oppressed, in order to make deoxys more Powerful. That is why he was so distant and non-opinionated, and why he chose psychic type pokemon because everything was leeched out of him by deoxys. He then explains that when his starter pokemon died, deoxys began to awaken in him, choosing him to be the new deity. It gave him the power to infect things with both forms of Pokerus, like the carcass of his dead starter and the admin. When the leader committed suicide, he became the new deoxys deity, Filled with hatred for his fate, he wants to take his vengeance out on the world for how awful it has become. You disagree, and the champion battle begins. Once you win, the Pokerus is finally stripped from him, ending deoxys' curse on the world, through the evil team leader and Alex. When he comes to, he feels even more distant than before. He new his thought about destroying the world, and hates himself for it. As you come into his hospital room, he monologues about how he always appreciated you, and looked up to you. He then loses consciousness and dies right in front of you (Pretty edgy I know, but you can change It). Sorry this was long, but I hope u enjoyed it, and if u don't enjoy the story, than you can change it. I just want to show a character. Pokemon: Spoiler Starter: Starter that is weak to Protagonists (Either on team or off, replaced by Your Starter) Espeon (Z-Move): Ability Magic Bounce, Calm Mind, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Morning Sun Metagross (Mega): Ability Clear Body Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Ice Punch, Bullet Punch Gardevoir (Choice Specs), Ability: Trace Psychic, Moonblast, Hidden Power Fire, Shadow Ball Haxorus (Life Orb) Ability, Rivalry Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Poison Jab, Outrage Froslass (Focus Sash) Ability: Cursed Body Spikes, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond Hawlucha (Sitrus Berry): Ability: Unburden Swords Dance, Acrobatics, High Jump Kick, Drain Punch Porygon-Z (Wise Glasses): Ability: Download Agility, Tri Attack, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt Your Starter Hope You Like It! Chromein
Hello everyone! It's nice to see more people in the mix! ^^ I'm sorry to everyone I haven't gotten to PMing yet! I've caught up on the new submissions, but school and life in general has been eating away at my free time >.< I'll reach out to you all as soon as I can! ^^ Let's see what today has to offer! 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 Spoiler An edgy name for some edgy folks! Dream Eaters are a mysterious terrorist organization that appeared recently in the Void Continents. They are heavily against both Team Astral and Zodiac, and also against the concepts of Legendaries and Disciples. Oftentimes, they attack territories owned by Astral and Zodiac, and kill both citizens and Astral/Zodiac members. One of their most frequent tactics in their attacks is arson. They don’t seem to have any obvious goal, and they just cause chaos and harm to everyone. However, in the places they raid, it seems that they are looking for something... 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭-𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞 Spoiler The highest rank of authority within either Team Astral or Zodiac. While both organizations are meant to be intergovernmental, the Avant-Guard is still considered the "leader", or the most powerful person. It is not an official ranking, and more of a social status. An Avant-Garde forms through several different means. They are generally the most influential and manipulative disciple, the puppet master dictating Astral or Zodiac behind the strings. The title does not represent actual physical power, but more of their power over people, both the public and disciples within the organization. Only disciples of legendaries know who the Avant-Garde is, and the general public has no idea who the identity of the Avant-Garde is. This means within their territories, legendaries and their disciple can claim themselves as the Avant-Garde, and no one would be any the wiser. 𝐄𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐧 Spoiler NAME: Epsilon (Fake name) Trainer Title: Avant-Garde Epsilon GENDER: Male STORY: Epsilon really is a mysterious person, who seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Very little is known about his backstory, and he is determined to keep it that way. What is known is that Epsilon used to be extremely poor, and was a homeless child in the streets of the grand city Elysian. Somehow, he managed to fight tooth and nail to the top, using knowledge he shouldn't know and blackmailed other people to higher his status. In the process of amassing power, he would secretly lay the groundwork for his future endeavors. By the time Epsilon was at the top of the world, he had already ensnared everyone in a trap without them even realising it. The way the city of Elysian's Disciple-system works is usually by inheritance, but the former Disciple conveniently changed the law from "family only" to "anyone as long as they qualify" before they mysteriously died. Guess who just so happened to qualify? If you guessed Epsilon, you are halfway correct! Epsilon was crowned Disciple, but it was only a short period before the legendary he was paired to, Necrozma, also happened to 'mysteriously' vanish as well. Epsilon still had his Disciple powers and such, so he didn't need a legendary to continue being as powerful as other Disciples. He's just not a Disciple anymore--he's the outright dictator of the eastern Void Continents. Under Epsilon, a lot has changed. The already aggressive Team Zodiac became 10x more brutal under his command, and Epsilon made it all as public as possible. The concept of Sieges was formed under his hand. Despite once being one of them, he treats his citizens incredibly harshly. His intent is to create a cycle of anger within his continents--people get killed for rebelling, people get angry, people rebel, and then people get killed for rebelling, rinse and repeat. Why does he do this though? What a mystery~ He is the truest example of an Avant-Garde in its finest. The entirety of Team Zodiac is under his thumb, both Disciples or not. PERSONALITY: Epsilon is known to be an incredibly charismatic person, and has the distinguishable ability to attract others and influence them. His charisma tends to make people feel better about themselves, which draws them to him. He is also incredibly confident, almost seemingly the perfect balance between being too cocky or too modest. He tends to be highly energetic and profound, seems to be completely fearless, and has expressive body language and a ready smile. While his charisma and energy seems attractive, it tends to mask Epsilon's main trait--manipulative and gaslighting. As an Avant-Garde, this is a defining trait. However, Epsilon isn't just manipulative in making others do what he wants, but also extremely emotionally manipulative. Epsilon tends to play people's words against them. He does a lot of guilt tripping and puts the blame on others, making them doubt themselves. He frequently puts others down, but usually never in a direct insult. He masks it in backhanded compliments or words that can be perceived as a suggestion for something else. He let's them connect the dots and make assumptions on their own, so that if they do confront him he can use that to guilt-trip them even more. Epsilon never underestimates anyone, and doesn't act as if he is superior to others (although he may think it sometimes, but he will never express it). He lets people be their own worst enemy. While he lays the railroad tracks down, he lets people defeat themselves. Despite being very good at twisting people around to his liking, he is incredibly immature. When things don't go his way, he gets extremely angry and acts rashly. When his temper goes out of hand, violence might be his answer if he can't restrain himself in time. He also tends to project--a lot. Sometimes intentionally, other times unconsciously. Epsilon is a pretty tacky person too. He tends to say out of place things, or stuff that is far from being appropriate for the current situation. TRIVIA: - Epsilon is not his real name, and no one knows where or when the name came from. His real name is unknown. - Actually a pretty cooperative person, if said cooperation is going his way. Tends to be more of a listener. TL;DR: Emotionally manipulative kiddo 𝐀𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 Spoiler NAME: Afinity GENDER: Male STORY: Afinity was born to Delphine, the former ruler of Eternity Kingdom. He is Eternity Kingdom's prince, and the former Disciple of Latios. He was raised in Aevum Palace alongside his twin sister, Demure. He is one of the candidates for the throne, and is campaigning against his sister. Prior to the incident during the second Void War, Afinity was incredibly proficient in his Disciple abilities, and was capable of doing stuff beyond his expected skill level. He was still rather reserved as a child, but in a more timid way instead of just being outright cold as he is now. As the story goes, in the second Void War, Latios and Latias were struck down and killed during the siege against Eternity Kingdom. Afinity quickly came up with a rash and desperate plan of reviving Latias and Latios before him and his sister lost their Disciple powers. As a Disciple of Latios, Afinity was capable of healing as well, but his sister's powers are specialised on it. He tasked the duty of reviving Latias on her. Unfortunately, Demure's fear prevented her from using her powers. They were running out of time, and if Afinity didn't do something quick enough the two would both lose their Disciple-status and Eternity Kingdom would be doomed. Afinity decided to use the little healing powers he had to try and revive two legendaries on his own. People pushing beyond their Disciple powers is not unheard of, but with it being this extreme of a curve and no legendary to even help made this an incredibly risky decision. Pokemon would die from doing things half of this extent. Somehow, Afinity managed to somewhat succeed. He revived Latias, but was unable to revive Latios fully, and instead stored the latter legendary as a Soul Dew. As a consequence for his overexertion, he lost all of his Disciple powers. Afinity was hailed the hero of Eternity Kingdom, for both literally saving the kingdom and also having been willing to sacrifice his own well being for it. Not only that, but with his great leadership skills and speech qualities has led him to being the much more popular of the two twins. PERSONALITY: A highly attentive and analytical person. Afinity is very calm, and very patient. He never acts based upon emotions, and follows a strict mindset of logic only. He always tries to follow the more logical and sensible courses, and puts people's hearts second. He doesn't really tend to show too much emotion anyways, aside from smiling for the cameras or for whatever publicity stunts. He is an incredibly cautious person, and he tends to suspect people very easily. He struggles with empathising with others, and can't deal with people's emotions that well. Afinity is extremely quick-witted, and can make conclusions and connections at the snap of a finger. He is able to immediately connect hints together and create links, and summarise things from there. While he is pretty unempathetic, he has a grasp on being able to pick up the subtlest of hints and cues from other people, and recognises the significance behind the smallest of movements incredibly quickly. He has a huge understanding of how people operate, and is able to predict or influence things based upon that. He chooses what side he wants people to see him in, and is very good at controlling his own emotions. He is also a very assertive and commanding person, and is able to influence others very easily. Afinity can be a bit stuffy, and a lot of jokes or innuendo's might just go flying over his head, which just makes things super awkward when he stands there in silence instead of laughing. TRIVIA: - His strongest abilities are in talking. He has a strong suit in words, and intentionally crafts his sentences to imply something to make others think of something, be too vague so he can get questions, or just make other people want to talk and thus give him answers. This is one of the main reasons he is so good at public speeches. - Guilty pleasures include really long showers and baths, all-nighters, and fast food/street food. Recently, Afinity has been looking very sick and ill. He now gets short of breath easily and gets lightheaded frequently. It's apparent to the public as well due to his physical appearance, now being very pale and having bags under his eyes. It's the topic of a lot of gossip and news discussions, and the main theory from them is that Afinity's overexertion of powers had more side effects then originally thought. Is this true though? TL;DR: A kuudere "But Chromein!" You readers are probably not wondering. "I thought you said you were going to cover the Void Wars! :C :C :C" Well my imaginary reader, I won't be in this post because I want to keep it to four categories per post I kind of feel like that section of the story I have in mind needs more touching up. I don't want to be giving out something that I end up changing anyways! So that'll come next post... probably! I've been improving on sprites a bit! So I think I'll be redoing any of my older sprites so they are much cleaner. And then I'll redo the current sprites, and then redo those current sprites...and then the cycle never ends! >:D I hope you enjoyed my text walls! This time, I don't actually have a particular plan for my next post. Oops? xD
