Kung Fu Ferret
(this is an origin story of an OC I created for the Pokémon universe. My inspiration for this particular installation includes The Jungle Book, as well as Tarzan: Lord of the Apes. This fic's rating will be PG-13. That being said, please let me know if I should tone something down. Note: If you're not used to some of the stuff they show in nature documentaries, then I wouldn't recommend this story. The main character is being raised by a pride of Litleo and Pyroar, after all.) PROLOGUE part one The seas were rough on this fateful night, the nearest trace of any civilization was hundreds of miles away. A lone Buizel, looking for some sunken treasure, surfaced, noticing a small ship that crashed into some jagged rocks. The young Buizel, known by others as Sankari, was curious about the sight of this boat. He knew that this shipwreck hasn't been there more than a few hours. Sankari decided to investigate, to see if anybody on board survived, or if there was something valuable within. Sankari could have sworn he heard something; a loud, somewhat shrill call. It was definitely a living being. Sankari followed the source of this sound, and saw a basket... Or was it a treasure chest? Sankari didn't open it, but realized that there was something inside that needed help. And so, the Buizel grabbed the mysterious item, and exited the shipwreck. He knew his mentor, a wise Drampa who went by the name of Ajagar, would know what to do with this, thing..... Sankari looked back for a moment, checking for other survivors. Unfortunately, whatever was in this floating box was the only living thing besides a handful of Sharpedo that lurked the depths. Sankari knew how dangerous Sharpedo could be, and took the basket with him, and went towards the nearest landmass, where Ajagar was certain resting in his cave. Would Ajagar know what to do with this creature? Most likely. Ajagar was among the wisest Pokémon that Sankari knew, and also one of the oldest. Sankari's tail spun, and he pushed the basket with his snout towards an island with a cave on it, ready to dodge any Sharpedo attacks, and watching out for Wailord who might accidentally swallow the Buizel and the basket whole.
