V10 - Savefile troubleshooting

My character keeps changing to the old one. I tried playing with PBS file, and whenever I change her to the original Female character, she goes back to the old one (The one with the pink hair and the white hat) Can someone please change my character to the Version 10 one pink hair one? Highly appreciated babies ~

And the name of the file didn't change when you downloaded it?

When you download or paste it might add a number depending on whether you have a file with the same name in the folder its being put in. So make sure its still named Game.rxdata rather than Game1.rxdata or similiar.

 

And by pasting it into the rejuvenation folder, the saved games folder right, not the actual folder where you launch the game?

 

Also, you did download the right file correct? I'm checking these things because when I download the Game file that I uploaded to check it works fine and the character is in front of the swings.

it does have a number 1 by it, do i need to delete the old file first? also, i was pasting it in the correct folder and downloaded the correct file.

So I've spent the last hour trying to find a patch for v10, but only managed to find a patch for v9 that crashes the game, so I'm not sure if it actually exists or not? The problem I'm having is that when I enter the next room in Darchlight Cave, Florina is standing there, but I can't interact with her or do anything, so I can't exit the cave. Please help?

This a common bug, the solution is relatively easy.
When you see her stuck at the elevator, go back to the Mirror making room and a cut-scene will trigger again, after it is over go back to elevator room and everything should be fine.

Kay, that's the problem. The game only reads the file with the correct name. So delete the old file, and then change the name of the one you downloaded to Game (make sure there's no space after the word game either, that's one of my personal common errors when doing this).

I can fix this but that's not your save. THere are instructions in the original post about how to find your save.

so basically I'm stuck in valor mountain right after I got to that red crystal after fighting the scientist guy.  apparently it glitched and the magma disappeared and I can't surf over the magma because it isn't there. it won't appear at all not matter what I do now. I can't get to Venam and progress the story. Can someone please help? I'm on v10 if that helps.

Did you upload the correct file? The game file from the Google Doc was stuck in Darchlight Cave, not Valor Mountain.

 

To fix the Flora not following you issue from that file all you have to do is run back to the lab you made the mirror in. A cutscene will trigger, and you can go back to the end of the Cave where the rest will play out correctly.

Either I'm having some kind of issue with google drive or both of your save files (at least the ones you uploaded) are corrupted.

I myself found that whenever someone mentions that their save file is big enough to not be uploaded here, it doesn't work on my game, it usually gives "lase save" error. Walpurgis works her magic always.
