TheNewEnigma
AT A GLANCE Today, ladies and gentlemen, like dear old Summer, I have decided to finally get my league team out because I feel that there's no point to having a trainer card without challenging the league. I started this team outta nowhere and picked some movesets and it turned out to be offensive. Let's do this. Sonny @ Life Orb Ability: Quick Feet EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature -Charge Beam -Thunderbolt -Hidden Power Ice -Shadow Ball In my opinion, Jolteon can be a great lead/boosting sweeper, if you make him speedy enough to be able to deal insane amounts of damage over time. Here, Life Orb packs in loads of power while still having freedom to switch up attacks. Godzilla @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD Sassy Nature -Stealth Rock -Pursuit -Crunch -Stone Edge Tyranitar here is my support for the team, combatting several threats, e.g Latios, Ninetales, and Jolteon. Stealth Rock is a reliability, crippling a decent amount of OU threats. Basically, this is my team's bodyguard. Rufus @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature -Flamethrower -ExtremeSpeed -Morning Sun -Will-O-Wisp Arcanine is always a great physical wall, countering or checking a hefty amount of pokemon. While no sun has been set up, Morning Sun recovers 50% of maximum health, and that's aways kickass, plus Will-O-Wisp reducing the target's physical damage. Bubba @ Leftovers Ability: Thick Fat EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SpD Adamant Nature -Body Slam -Earthquake -Pursuit -Fire Punch Snorlax is always needed in an offensive team in need of special tanks who can pack up a good punch in return. Earthquake takes care of Rock and Steel types, Return's a great STAB, Body Slam is excellent for paralyzing, and Pursuit is good for taking out foes like Chandelure and Bisharp. Optimus Prime @ Choice Band Ability: Clear Body EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe Adamant Nature -Meteor Mash -Bullet Punch -Hammer Arm -Zen Headbutt You want a nuke right off the bat? Metagross. I would put him as my lead, but 135 attack plus Choice Band is enough to make him my ace. Bullet Punch can deal with potential threats, Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt are excellent STABs, and Hammer Arm is another good threat dealer. Jaws @ Life Orb Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Modest Nature -Protect -Surf -Dark Pulse -Ice Beam Sharpedo is my only special attacker in this team, but Speed Boost Sharpedo is great no matter what. Protect is seen as a downside, but it's vital forany kind of Speed Boost pokemon to get a guaranteed boost before the kill. Ice Beam is good for dealing with Ground and Grass types, and Dark Pulse is a necessary STAB, along with Surf. IN CONCLUSION "Offense is the best Defense" -Summer ^ 'nuff said. This doesn't feel like my old hyper offensive team, but this one is a hell of a lot better. Wanna test this team? PM me on the server and we'll see. The Fush
Might wanna change the black text, it can hurt the eyes a bit. Just while I'm at it, have you tested this team yet? It can help you realize some of the flaws yourself. Arcanine may be a good wall, but compared to the stats in OU it'd be better off being offensive, or just replacing it with something else entirely (and why does it have my name o3o). Also, your team has a HUMONGOUS weakness to Ground, meaning Terra is going to wipe you off your feet hard. In a triple battle, Earthquake's going to be saying goodbye to all 3 of your first pokemon, and Metagross too, so I'd recommend rectifying that quickly. The team has potential, but as it is, it needs a lot of fixing up.
Summer
Enigma y u copy meeee First off, Arcanine should take out Morning Sun if you plan on Tyranitar. Sand will ruin the HP gain. Second, you don't have decent stuff to bring out in Doubles/Triples. Surf and EQ can backfire pretty bad. Third, your pokemon have awful nicknames. Fourth, you stole my lines ._. Fifth, your RMT looks like you put 3 minutes worth of work into it. I feelsbd for flaming Maybe you should rework your synergy and come back when you're done. Joker
First things first, Arcanine needs to go. There better fire types, and since your team is offensive, it would be best to choose one that serves an offensive purpose better. An example of that would probably be Darmanitan, or if you want something special wise, Chandelure. Both have worked extremely in league. You also have a huge fighting weakness, Samson is hard enough without that. I'd suggest Gengar, which in turn would also help with that ground weakness. Gengar over Jolteon Darm over Arcanine. As for Tyranitar, he doesn't really need to be there. Not one pokemon benefits from sand being up. In light of that. Dragonite over Tyranitar. He gives you another ground immunity as well as some needed resisting. Now for sets you may want to use. Gengar (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Icy Wind - Focus Blast - Shadow Ball - Giga Drain This provides great coverage in league. Icy Wind also proves very useful in Triples, providing a 100% speed drop, may be weak, but it is very useful. Giga Drain to regain health, should be useful against leaders like Hardy, Terra, and Amy. The rest is self-explanatory. Darmanitan (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Fire Punch - Rock Slide - Superpower - U-turn Darm here can also help you in Triples, as well as provide amazing destruction in Singles and Doubles too. However, this set is common, but it's still very useful. Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance/Rock Slide - Outrage - Fire Punch - Roost/Extremespeed Standard DD Roost Dragonite. I shouldn't have to say too much on the matter. Also, if you want a band set for Dragonite, just replace DD with Rock Slide, and Roost with Extremespeed. You can also go Dragon Claw over Outrage. All up to you. Keep in mind EVS and items can always be edited. Hope this helps. ^^
