Can't find a Breeder.. Anyone can tell me??

So I'm currently at Goldleaf and i have gotten my 4th badge. I want to breed my phantum so i can get an egg which i can trade for a mystery one.. I actually haven't breeded pokemon before, so i would appreciate if you could tell me how to do that too.

The breeder is in the town with the fighting gym/dojo.  They are in the middle/upper left and are run by an old couple.

Okey, i think i found it, it's a daycare. However they only offer to raise my pokemon, i cant seem to find an option to breed. Something I'm missing?

You gotta run around and talk to the old man outside of the daycare. He should say something like "Your Pokemon had an egg there when we found them. I don't know how it got there but do you want it?" That's how you breed Pokemon.

For how long do i need to ''run around''?? So far he's just saying: your phantum is doing just fine.

Ahh. Ok. So you need to make sure you have these 3 things to breed a Phantump

 

1. Your Phantump is female.

2. The other Pokemon you put in the daycare with your Phantump is male.

3. The other Pokemon you put in the daycare with your Phantump is of the same egg group. In Phantump's case, it's in the Grass and Amorphous egg group.

 

I'll leave a link here to serebii so that way if you wanna breed other Pokemon, you know the egg group it needs to be bred with.

Oh, i didn't know this. Thank you. So I catched myself a female now and now im gonna put it inside the daycare with a male grimer. Since grimer is in the Amorphous egg group.

You're welcome. Now the running around bit to get the egg is random. Could take like 30 seconds. Could take 5 minute. But it shouldn't ever take like past 10 minutes to get an egg. It's never happened to me at least.

Okey, so i catched a koffing instead, also Amorphous egg group. However, when i talked to the daycare man he said that they don't like eachother, is that a bad sign? Maybe its smarter to just put in a male Phantump?

also one daycare center is in grand dream city too

but idk if it works for making eggs

tbh I never used daycare in rejuvenation yet

try some grass or ghost type of same egg group

if you will breed with cacnea, you will get power up punch as egg move

if that wont work... i dont know

but my mons (in reborn but that doesnt matter since it works on same code) sometimes have egg even when they dont like each other much

To explain, the more the pokemon dislike each other the less chance of an egg being produced after a set number of steps, if he gives you a message along the lines of "they prefer to play with OTHER pokemon, it means egg chance is 0% and will not occur" in this case the chance for you is low but still possible, just may take a while.

So there are only 2 day cares in rejuvenation ( and yes they breed pkmn):

One is in Sheridan Village and the other one is in GDC.
