It's been a hard choice for starter and version since I am unsure if they have unveiled all version exclusives (kind of doubt it though) and I actually like all the starters quite a bit. Kind of close to picking X because of the cotton candy pokemon and perhaps Chespin as the starter. *shrugs*I still wonder if Fennekin will stick with the fire/fighting thing though... the move shown seems like it will, since I even heard the super effective sound effect when it attacked Litleo with it, since it's fire and normal type. Disclaimer: This is not 100% confirmed, what is listed may or may not be final and/or true. Take this with a grain of salt. First off! New "Mega" forms of various Pokémon. Specifically; MegaBlaziken, MegaLucario, MegaMawile, MegaAbsol, MegaMewtwo, and MegaAmpharos. MegaMawile is Steel/Fairy-typing. It also has the ability Huge Power. MegaBlaziken has Speed Boost. MegaLucario has Adaptibility. MegaAbsol has Magic Bounce. MegaAmpharos is Electric/Dragon-typing and has the ability Mold Breaker. They evolve through a process called "Mega" evolution. New pokemon were announced as well; Meekuru is the pre-evolution of Gogoat. An Electric/Fairy-type was announced, named Dedenne. It's labeled the Antenna Pokémon and has the ability Pick Up or the new ability Cheek Pouches. A rabbit Pokémon was announced, named Horubii. It's Normal-type. It's labeled the Digging Pokémon and has the ability Pick Up or the new ability Cheek Pouches. A new character is shown named Koruni. She is a Gym Leader and holds the key to understanding Mega evolution. The first Pokémon X and Y event will be a Torchic distributed between October 12th and January 13th, holding what is called a Blaziken Knight. I hope they do MegaForms for other starters in order to beef up their stats to keep up with power creep/inflation as someone else mentioned. As is blaziken wasn't very competitive before. *rollseyes* Edit: *looks at the new forms* Dark looking Absol went super emo + mlp wings. Not a fan, but I can't really hate it. Another pikachu clone! FFFFFF. But it actually looks decent, I would rather it replace pikachu than just add it to the pokedex. In perfect worlds... But yeah, looks like a doormouse version, and reminds me of Redwall characters like Matteo. They made a derpy looking boyfriend for buneary. =I MegaForms= glam hair even Fabio would envy. How to evolve is take 'em to the salon enough times, lol. Gotta get that Lucario. =D I'm displeased with Pokemon's downward spiral into the cute zone that has me seriously taking stock of all of Game Freak's pedophilic tendencies. Megaform seems like a really small concession to older, more serious gamers that hopefully helps to even out the metagame up rather than further ramp up the power creep across generations.
